What is not trope about the story: it is in reverse. What do I mean by that:
It started with a break up rather than cozying up to each other like majority of BL out there, may it be series or movies as the break up scene happens towards the end. Props for that for dropping it that early.

Then they got "together" (again) in the end.

But the rest is what you may found in almost all other BL stories.

Sometimes the beginning or the destination is not that much of an importance as to the journey.

That will explain why the series is dragging, slow in a way. It is amplifying the emotion each of the main couple. Was it excuted seamlessly? No.

Case in point, when they are in "The Cabins". Yes, it took how many episodes just to make Tep jealous were 2 or 3 will do. And it is so given that Ri is in a plan with Tau to make Tep jealous. Since Episode 1, when Tau saw Tep again, he is like a dog that his furdad arrives home. He can't control himself to near him. In fact, they could have dropped the whole "making Tep jealous" thing entirely and jump to the celebrating their anniversary, it will still have the same outcome and less unnecessary dramas. The only redeeming factor with the getaway is Nin was able to introduced Pang to the Boom Harot gang.

They could have gone the route instead of making Tep jealous, they should have show how they rekindle their interrupted relationship through being sweet and touchy with one another to add value to their relationship.

Clearly Miguel is in the character of Tau, he is connected with it, and that is so obvious. While Genesis, he is not entirely into Tep character, tentative if I may say so. Sometime he is connected, several times disconnected. There are a handful scene that he thinks too much rather feel things through.

And among the supporting characters, Nics/Nicole/Nix is the most relevant to the main couple. She is the reason why Tau and Tep reconnected. Nics is the first person that Tau confessed to about his feelings toward Tep. Nicole is the one that told the rest of the group what is the real score between Tau and Tep.

Step back for a while try to imagine, take away from the picture Bianca and Ronin. The story will still stay the same, right? In fact, it was Tau and Tep that became a support for Ronin which should have been the other way around. But I still like his character, though is it was of a cute face and talent. And there are numerous scenes were Bianca is just over-acting.

im hella sad, i feel like there will be a lot of crying.
ironic. I do watch series and movies without expectations that is why I can critique it without biased. and yet i expected something for 2020.

Just when you thought that the cutest thing you will see in Episode 3 is the eavesdropping guy. Then come long…
It is really a bad time to have a work when most of this series aired at night and you're working too.

I have so many on my plates right now:
- In Between
- The Gifted Graduation
- A Chance to Love
- My Gear and Your Gown
- I'm Tee, Me Too
- My Extra Ordinary

I have yet to start to watch:
- Quaranthings
- My Day
- Oxygen the series

And Nov 6 is fast approaching for TharnType 2! Oct 22 for "I Told Sunset About You", this is one of the most I anticipated as I think this is Nadao's first ever full blown BL. Not to mention western sci-fi series about to air, one starting next week and the other on Oct 30!

Why a day could only last for 24hours?! Why?!

Title Like in the Movies Spoiler
Just when you thought that the cutest thing you will see in Episode 3 is the eavesdropping guy. Then come long…
Vlad is starting to fall for Karl, as in big time.

When he eavesdropped and Karl said that it is not to them to tell Vlad where he wants to be, the smirk tells it all. He was relieved and glad that Karl is somewhat on his side.

Vlad telling Karl that he will kiss his cheek, it is a sign that Vlad still respect Karl eventhough in the eye of his older sister they are a couple. He still reconizes boundaries and when he feels he is about to cross it, he let the other person know or ask permission. What can I call him? A gentleman, i guess more appropriately, a gentlegay if such word do exist. Another scene where Vlad showed he respect Karl, is when Karl parents did a video call to him. He pretends that he is over at Karl's place because he ran out of coffee, it is a sign that Vlad is respecting for Karl not to be "outed" eventhough I think Vlad can sense Karl that he is "one of us". I think Vlad want Karl to comes out on his own. And going back to the previous episode when they are both at the dining table when Karl couldn't say boyfriend and gay, Vlad is letting him know that there is nothing wrong in being one.

After Vlad's sister left, he could easily shy away from Karl to make his way to his Ex, but he chooses to stay with Karl. To say the least, he forgets his ex when he is with Karl. When you're in that situation, it is a clear sign that someone new is already occupying your mind and soon to be, your heart.

Let's go to the other side of the fence, Karl. Clearly, their argument doing chores is classic one. Well not for a BL story, but more a real life scenario when two people is living under the same roof. I find it cute when Karl is nagging, somehow I couldn't feel annoyed of him because seeing Vlad annoyed is too cute for me to be irritated with any of the two. LOL Vlad is trying so hard not to smack Karl. LOL

Then came Vlad's sister and told Karl why Vlad is like the way he is. At that point, Karl becomes more appreciative and understanding of Vlad. And when Vlad told him that he failed his Japan application, I could see Karl equally sad even Vlad is trying to hide it. And when he give Vlad a copy of the key, that is a sign that Karl still wants Vlad to be near him. Still confuse what he is feeling but definitely he is feeling something already. Why I am able to say that Karl is starting to feel something romantic towards Vlad, when Ate Judit said that he thinks that Vlad is better off to be with their mother. That is Karl way out of the trouble, to get rid of Vlad. But no, he acted and responded like a real boyfriend, and Vlad's sister seems to like what he said. Kudos Karl! "Pogi" points in the eye of Ate Judit.

Noteworthy: the interaction between Ian and Pao, Vlad and Karl respectively, is so natural that as if they know what to say or act right after one said his line. Their interaction is so fluid that you couldn't almost see awkwardness. Yes, there are some awkward scene, but the scene demands for it. The only real awkward scene is when Karl is throwing things to Vlad sleeping on the couch. I guess he is trying to avoid not to hit Vlad's kuku bird. LOL

Just when you thought that the cutest thing you will see in Episode 3 is the eavesdropping guy.

Then come long that Vlad wants is cold. Cute and extremely funny! And when Ate Judit suggested to place it next the ******, no need to what Vlad is holding. HAHAHAHA

What I can tell about Ep 3:
On I Told Sunset about You Oct 9, 2020
Okay... PP looks like Tor Thanapob. And there are scenes were Billkin looks like Pluem Purim.

However, is this the first full blown BL series of Nadao? I know there is Great Men Academy, but, it is a body swap after all.

I just hope that this isn't as tragic as in My Ambulance. But I am sensing a roller-coaster emotion ride.

So sorry for my randomness but do you happen to have the link for ep 5 of the gifted graduation cause strangely…
If you are using a computer to watch, download Opera browser and it has a built-in VPN. Just change the settings to "Americas". That is what I do. At least it is still through official channel/means.

Title The Gifted Graduation Spoiler
My take on the recent episode:
It's kinda given that Korn is actually the leader of the "Anti-Gifted".

I just remember in season 1 when Korn and Mon was "sequestered" from the group when the two was given a fake cure to the their gifts. It is clear that Director Supot has a hand on that. Now, is it possible that Dir. Supot somehow persuade Korn to be his mole for the Class XV? There was a line from Korn when he told Mon, "you know it's me", or something along that line. Is it a euphemism that the two of them Dir. Supot asked them to be his pawn?

Korn is aware of his gift. He wasn't affected by the sleeping gas he set on in the room. He can definitely cure himself fast, much like Wolverine, that any toxins in his body can be easily removed.

My "I WISH" in my comment regarding the very first episode for Claire: "Claire to read other people thoughts and not hues of colors based on their feelings.", I must say, two down (Korn and Claire). Waiting how Pang, Wave, Punn and Mon's potential progress.
==============================
First of all, as for the acting, it is really hard for me to see Gun cozying up to a girl, after all, Off-Gun is a staple GMMTV thing.

When Chimon is angry, I can feel his anger too.

Fiat's angry moments is that you can feel where is coming from. And the good guy turning into a bad is not really new for him. Take Slam Dance and A Gift to the People You Hate as an example. But since his appearance in Grean Fictions up to SOTUS S, he always portrayed this lonely character, a distant from others but well connected with his feelings. Too sad though, he is one of the underrated actor of GMMTV together with Sing.

Sing doesn't really mind if his character make a ridicule of himself, and when he does, he shines! I guess that is a double edge sword for him. That specific "skill"of him makes him outstanding as a support character and he is in that role in countless series already.

Nanon's character development is too slow, but I have this feeling that how much he progressed will be a blast.

The chemistry among the cast is undoubtingly present. After all, 5 of them (Nanon, Chimon, Sing, Claire and Puimek) already appeared in My Dear Loser and they know how one acts and can easily adjust. Given Gun's extensive series, he can adjust easily to his co-star. Fiat's previous series involves different kinds of characters where he played excellently and that speaks his skills. But sometimes, it feels like he is torn between acting and dancing. I guess that could be a reason why GMMTV is not giving him another titular role like Grean Fictions.

I'm wishing GMMTV will take notice of Phuwin and Prim as they are budding outstanding actor/actress.

Does anyone know when the release new episodes? Because so far it seems sporadic, like there is no set schedule.
the newest episode gets released every other week. Episode 14 is set to be aired on Saturday. So, Episode 15 will on th 17th, Episode 16 on the 31st and so on.
The difficulties with sequels...

One thing a sequel needs to be is, it should be able to meet the expectations. After all, there is a prior standards set. it is either needs to match it, or better it.

While other characters' story is a continuation from LBC, Tin-Can was remade.

Don't get me wrong, I was kinda looking forward to the "after" of their story in LBC. Their story here is somehow I'm in the middle. I am not all for it, I am not against it either.

I like Mean's character here more. Tin has more depth and rich (don't take it in the literal sense) backstory. Meanwhile, Can is more naive, gullible that kinda leaves a bitter taste to me.

The development of their story, together, is kinda hasten than LBC which is kinda understandable since they remake their story and in this sequel focus on them. But is it necessary? So far, I couldn't see the need to redo their story. What is so important that will happen in this sequel that how they left it in LBC will not be a logical continuation if they decided to pick it up where they left off?

We are nearing half of the series and so far, I couldn't see any logical reason to redo Tin-Can story. Considering Tum-Tar hasn't meet yet, physically. Kla-No is in limbo.

One up side for this sequel is Mai. LOL Pond wasn't wrong about Ae-Pete in LBC, is he right about Perth-Mai or Mai-Perth? LOLOLOLOL
On My Extraordinary Sep 28, 2020
First episode was okay, not good, not bad as well.

I am not really bothered by the transitions of scenes as it is still logical and didn't show how it moved from one to the next. It kinda saves airtime. Fast? Yes. But it is still in chronological order, there is even one scene that made a reference to a previous one. It actually focused on Ken, the achiever of the school. I won't be surprise as the story develops, it will show the sacrifices he will make. And what Shake needs to endure to get to the end. When that happens, then story is definitely a trope.

As how the main started, Ken and Shake, very typical of a BL. May it be Thai, Taiwanese or even Chinese. So nothing especial about how their relationship started. But what differs each of the BL's is how they overcome that and progress. The sweet nothings in between. And that is what I am looking forward to.

Yayo's acting is a bit strong for me for a support role. Over-acting in few moments. Jojit is spot on. How these 2 seasoned actors can support the main? That is what to watch out for. Hope they will not eat Enzo and Dawin acting-wise.

Title The Gifted Graduation Spoiler
Korn makes perfect sense.
From Season 1, he is practically "useless" as the boy who couldn't sleep.

A body needs to sleep in order to regenerate, heal itself. So it suggests that Korn's potential is a Wolverine-like, thus can not be infected by Nyx-88.

It would make perfect sense why he leads the "Anti-Gifted" as he sees his gift as useless.
========================

As Yin Zi said regarding Grace's potential that she can sense danger, couple comments down.

If that is the case, the first medical check-up didn't involved Class XV, so they are safe. And Grace is safe based on the CT-scan as there is one that is different and not infected.

Why Korn wants to elimiate the latest Gifted class and keep Class XV relatively safe? Is he aware that he heals fast? So is it possible that he will offer his blood to cure Class XVI? Then becomes finally a hero.

Better question, how Korn know about Nyx-88?
On My Gear and Your Gown Sep 21, 2020
I watched this because of Fiat and JJ. After watching Ep 2, darn! Marc and Win growing on me... And fast! I could see some angles of Marc as being Viking which I like.

But starting to feel that Waan-Pure will take the back burner, story wise and airtime. I hope this show finds a balance to show the 2 pairs.
