Has he kissed any female costar before in a drama?
No no no, Joss is the Player. Chimon is a sweet innocent boy corrupted by an evil woman. It's a good show, and Chimon's character was my favorite, just not as a romantic character. You should watch it.
After watching his Love Out Loud performance I think GMMTV should write more rock songs for him. The boy's got RANGE! Maybe The Heart Killers will have a more energetic OST for him to sing, something like Only Friend's Let's Try.
Another GreatInn series in the workshttps://twitter.com/komu_b2/status/1791328208316686426?t=LCPAu77jClcaQwJxr92SGQ&s=19
Great to know! Seems like GMMTV is sure of their success. Not undeservedly... I was surprised they admitted it so early, but then again, in a few months GMMTV needs to have everything planned, agreed on, and a few pilots scripted, shot, edited and ready to air. So yeah, it makes sense they start early.
>>if P'Jojo can make ForceBook look like a real couple
I couldn't even get through Enchante, but I watched A Boss and a Babe and their nc scenes looked very awkward. In Only Friends they seemed like completely different actors. I don't think much about Jojo working with FK again though, maybe because I watched a few of his shows all starring Joss in the main role. Maybe he just has a type π€·ββοΈ
Everyone is talking about FK being typecasted, what about poor Joong? π I know he doesn't have the widest range, but I'm sure he could play something other than the same emotionally constipated character over and over again. Personally, I think he would do well playing a golden retriever-type of character: shamelessly flirting with his bae from the start, delivering the cheesiest lines with the biggest, dumbest smile. No weird hesitation, no hidden agendas, just: "I like you. Deal with it." Anyway, I have high expectations for this show. I said once that if P'Jojo can make ForceBook look like a real couple, he can make JoongDunk look like real actors. Maybe between him and FirstKhao giving good examples they can whip Dunk into shape. The guy's got the look and the spirit, now he just needs a little guidance.
Can anyone suggest a good drama by him ? I haven't seen anything but I saw a youtube edit and I thought he looked…
Never Let Me Go was a non-cringy BL in my opinion, I quite liked it. As for non-BL, he had a role in Wednesday Club, where he played an escort. I think this series had a lot of potential. but ultimately was rushed too much and the resolution for some of the characters was not satisfying to me. I still think it's worth watching. The Warp Effect was brilliant, but he had a very small role. Also, if you don't mind horror, he starred in a film Hoon Payon which I LOVED. It had a great atmosphere and both Phuwin and Up did a great job with their roles.
i love FK and i love JD so iβm absolutely seating this. sad to see people already talking about dunks acting…
JD have great chemistry off-camera (look up "everyone being done with JoongDunk"), so I blame their blandness in series on mediocre directors. And although I love JD, I have to admit, they're not the best GMMTV has to offer. FK, on the other hand, are absolutely some of the most talented ones. I was quite surprised to see four of them in one series, but now my conspiracy theory is that somebody hopes that FK will teach JD better acting. Cheaper than hiring an acting coach.
I'm from Europe and I mostly watch Thai dramas. Here are my cultural shocks: 1. My first drama was KinnPorsche, my first shock was the blessed phallus and I wouldn't have it any other way. 2. Whoever came up with eating rice dishes with a fork and a spoon was a genius. 3. Sniff kisses are FRICKING ADORABLE. We need to adopt them in the West! 4. "Oh, you're my son's friend? Well, you're my son now. Have you eaten?" 5. Everyone is your brother/sister. Unless they're older, then they're uncles and aunties. 6. People talking about past lives like it's past months. 7. It's always fascinating to me to see all the things related to Buddhist monks. I recently watched a drama where the main character's dad became a monk, the mc followed him to live in the monastery, and later the dad left the monkhood just like that. As someone raised in a Catholic country, I imagine most people enter monkhood at a young age and stay there for life. And usually do not drag their kids with them. 8. Speaking of which, finding out that Christianity is the most popular religion in South Korea was a major wtf moment for me π€£ We don't wear school uniforms, but they're common enough in neighboring countries that they weren't shocking to me π And we got pretty nice school lunches in primary school, but later I just ate sandwiches. I know a lot of people in the West complain about languages like Japanese, which have formal and informal ways of speaking, but my language actually has that as well, although I feel like among my generation the formal form is slowly dying. Also, my language actually has formal and informal forms, similar to Japanese, totally unlike English, although I feel like among my generation the formal form is slowly dying.
Can someone explain me relationships here? I don't get who was into who and what does it have to do with Rawi.…
Phloeng's grandpa and the old monk used to be lovers. Grandpa's wife couldn't take it and tried to kill the monk, but died herself and became the evil ghost. The monk then became the monk, and later was looking after his nephew Rawi. Also, grandpa's wife had a kid (Phloeng's father), but it wasn't grandpa's biological kid as they never had sex. Also, one of the servants was in love with Phloeng, that's he was such a little shit to Rawi, but ended up with the other servant for no reason.
Uhhhh, hate to break it to you but in the uncut version on iqiyi there was 3 sex scenes sooo.... Also just f off…
Which episodes were they in? I have too low a tolerance for cringe to watch this show, but I'm curious about those XD Imho sex scenes are the best things in Domundi shows (and music, at least when NuNew is present). And I totally agree about the purity culture bs.
i actually like that concept. its better than remake, no offense. pls don't attack meππ
Awww, no worries, we all have different opinions π And I'm not mad, just intrigued. And a bit worried it's gonna be like Wednesday Club: a lot of interesting ideas, all criminally underdeveloped.
