I find it mind-boggling that when actual queer creators want to show actual queer relationships (sex and all)…
Fine. "A woman (singular) can write trashy, exploitative stories, and no one bats an eye". Although there are actually two I can think of. I don't mind women writign good stories, but Thai BL seems to have particularly bad luck when it comes to female writers. Or maybe it's just that the toxic ones are the loudest.
After reading some comments here, I went to read about how they shoot sex scenes. The articles that I found talked about Hollywood, but I wonder if things are the same or similar in Thailand. Does anyone know if they had an intimacy coach on set?
P'Jo: There’s one thing I would like to defend so bad but it’s 18+. Let me open Space with New then. 555A…
I find it mind-boggling that when actual queer creators want to show actual queer relationships (sex and all) people throw a fit, but women can write trashy, exploitative stories that treat sexual assault as romantic, and no one bats an eye. Queer media and BL really are two different worlds. But I have mad respect for GMM for giving voice to queer people and telling their stories, rather than repeating the same vapid romances over and over again. Don't get me wrong, I like vapid romance as much as any other person, but I couldn't watch, like, 60 of them, I need diversity. I just hope the pushback won't deter P'Jojo and other creators from speaking their truths. GMM itself airs three shows every week, if someone doesn't like that one, there are plenty of others for them to watch.
All the pairings are cool, but the one I'm dying for is Boston and Nick. They're gonna give me (hopefully) delicious…
I also think BostonNick will give us heartbreak. But Nick can come back with a vengeance. Already, he wasn't above breaking into his customer's phone, jacking off to his photo, and planting his own in (and let's be honest, in the real world this would not be a selfie). I think Top will get tired of Mew cock-blocking him and screw Boston on the side. Nick will find out, be heartbroken, but later he'll reveal the whole thing to Mew to get revenge, (maybe get some secret recording or a photo). Not sure what role Prapang will play. But I think Nick is friends with Sand, as he's crying in his arms in the trailer.
THIS! If you watch The Warp Effect, the sex scenes are like that too. Maybe the actors aren't comfortable shooting…
Flat against the window. I noticed the lube thing as well. At least in LITA they used condoms. The only time I saw lube was in Warp Effect, but it wasn't used in the end.

Personally I found scenes in KP unrealistic. Let's be honest, nothing goes anywhere in that position. In LITA, RainPayu were unrealistic, but PrapaiSky were pretty good. Granted, both shows were hot and well-made. But OF, I think, is meant to be more realistic and that does not always translate to "hotness". Plus, as someone already said, there is no love involved, just fucking.
I do like the series, but as I wrote a long time ago, things are getting really bad for the actors. The production…
The only trend I'm seeing is that the shows are getting more varied. Yeah, some are getting more explicit (although, if I'm to get an explicit show, I'd rather be it done by actual gay men rather than exploitative female writers romanticizing abuse). But there are still cute, innocent shows, like My School President or Hidden Agenda.
I personally like this series. I find it funny how on this page people don't like this series and want to drop…
I found that most comments on youtube are positive, while most comments on mdl are negative. The truth is somewhere in the middle. Personally, if I don't like a series, I drop it, I don't feel the need to go whine about it, but to each their own.
It's about six guys falling in love and screwing each other behind each others' backs. I don't know what to tell you. If you're looking for a profound tale that will challenge your understanding of what it means to be human, this is not a show for you.
The Pilot: it's gonna be a sex-fueled relationship drama Official trailer: it's gonna be a sex-fueled relationship drama Some people after the first episode: why is it such a sex-fueled relationship drama? ಠ_ಠ
I was positively surprised by Neo's acting in the first ep. He never got a chance to flex his acting muscles, and he's really good! Hope he gets more main roles in the future. Also, is it me, or is Boston secretly in love with Top? I feel like Nick's story is gonna break our hearts. And how wild must it be for people who followed Khaotung for a long time? You start with the cute baby with an angelic face and the most pinchable cheeks, playing the purest and most wholesome characters. And then there's the bad boy Ayan. And then *gestures wildly towards whatever Ray is supposed to be* But Khao's acting is top-notch, same as First. First looks really good as a bad boy. So far Book is the weakest link for me, but we'll see how he handles more challenging scenes. For now he's just kinda there.
