It feels like the Japanese copyright holders thought Thailand is such a small and insignificant country, no one would care for their remake. But when the first episodes gained milions of views from all around the world, they're throwing a prissy fit.
I don't know about legal stuff, something could have (and probably was) lost in translation. I just hope GMMTV will manage to resolve it. They'll probably have to pay more for international broadcasting rights. Maybe put it on Viki rather than youtube. But given how much of their viewership is international, and how much they already invested into making this series, I hope they won't give up and will fight to deliver it to us 🙏

Hey, GMMTV, if you're running out of domestic novels to adapt, no need to ask Japan, there are plenty of English-language authors who'd be more than happy to let you adapt their works. No bullshit copyright issues later on, we promise.

Phuwin is doing fine on his own, maybe even better than with Pond. I saw him in Wednesday Club and Hoon Payon and he nailed it.
Dunk, on the other hand, is cute with Joong... And that's all the good I have to say about him. But he never had a solo role, maybe GMM split them to give him a chance to polish his skills. I'm a bit worried, but at the end of the day, I'm not a picky viewer, so I can watch the show even if the acting is not great.

No kidding, Nani makes Joong seem expressive.

Sometimes I think she might be on autism spectrum, maybe that scratching is some kind of stim.

Am I the only one who got some Only Friend vibes from the first ep? There's a group of friends. One is a virgin and not eager to change it. The other likes to poke his nose into other people's beds. One is rich and gets himself a broke bed friend. The only difference is the missing friend and his twin. Playboyy is darker, which I should like. But the quality is also much lower. Dialogues are bad. Music is terrible. And the actors make ForceBook look like pros.
Also, I may be getting too old, because seeing a clearly terrified guy in a sexual situation doesn't do it for me. Get consent or get some ice cream to cool down.
