To whoever is part of Chengyi's Agency or whoever casts Chengyi, if you're reading this... Chengyi looks better with bangs. He looks younger!!! Please give him that look more often in costume dramas please and thank you!! I love him so much!
Wow thanks..im debating with myself to watch this or not..good looking actors is not the main factor for me to…
If you're looking for strong plots you gotta look for good reviews and high ratings. The big hit dramas are the ones with strong plots, amazing soundtracks, beautiful costumes, phenomenal acting and cast, gasping sceneries and fantasy. Eternal Love (Ten miles of the peach blossom), Love and Redemption, The Legends, Goodbye My Princess... I'd recommend those titles.
I love Cheng Yi but I'm really not a fan of Republican Era dramas. Unfortunately, I will have to pass on this.…
I'm not a fan of this era either. I also watch Arsenal Military Academy solely because I knew the cast but I was very disappointed in the plot. I'm willing to watch and skim through only so I can see CY but I will not hold any expectations. This era usually has boring plots.
Can someone tell me the good points based on your opinion on whether to watch this drama or not.
1. Cast 2. A good soundtrack and good acting makes a hit drama 3. The romance is on point. 4. Action was cool! 5. Beautiful Costumes 6. The journey is an emotional investment. Make sure you are mentally and emotionally prepared. 7. Character build up is amazing. Literally each character.
The only con I personally have is that the dialogues are long and redundant. The main relationship goes back and forth a lot. A lot of push and pull. But that's every relationship, there's gotta be conflict for there to be any plot or content.
Just don't know why it was called dance of the sky empire.... she danced twice and was really good and that was it... and not once did they ever mention the sky empire... Am I missing something?? Sky empire.... dragon king.... but the clan wore green clothes like they were land creatures not sky.... lol
Eh...Those are just regular Kung fu movies... There are plenty of those
Haha, I love tragedies so it was perfect for me... wished there was more romance and deeper chemistry between the two in the storyline but still loved it. Now off to my imagination now...
Ummmm wtf, first half and second not even related I swear. Wtf? Unorganized production. I feeel bad for the cast.…
And wtf happened to the real princess? She had such a nasty personality but I was hoping they’d put her back in lol and then second half came in and general has a doppelgänger too! Wow. I’m still salty about how they just left the first half unfinished. And homeboy Rong Zhi has a no kissing policy bc he was too young when he filmed this. Some sad bullshiz!
Ummmm wtf, first half and second not even related I swear. Wtf? Unorganized production. I feeel bad for the cast. General got more screen time than anyone else. She should’ve been the lead character. Her story was better than everyone else’s. Two leads barely got any relationship development. Sad.
Completely agreed. I only watched because the two leads were well known actors... but the production of this drama was... disappointing. Everyone pretty much killed each other and died. I mean literally ALL the characters except the female lead, her grandpa, the emperor and the twin sisters died. I don’t know why I kept going to the very end. Everything was so repetitive. 50% was her just being kidnapped and trying to escape, and the other 50% was her refusing to escape so she doesn’t ruin the male leads plan. ????
