Completely agreed. I only watched because the two leads were well known actors... but the production of this drama was... disappointing. Everyone pretty much killed each other and died. I mean literally ALL the characters except the female lead, her grandpa, the emperor and the twin sisters died. I don’t know why I kept going to the very end. Everything was so repetitive. 50% was her just being kidnapped and trying to escape, and the other 50% was her refusing to escape so she doesn’t ruin the male leads plan. ????

The feels... I love myself some tragedy. I feel like the genre is a genre that usually promises a good storyline and handful of tears. Great cast. The two leads have good chemistry still waiting to see even better chemistry.

Even though his character was stiff in legend of Yun Xi, he looks good as a stiff character. Wished he had more emotion when it came to the emotional scenes. I feel like he didn’t have too much chemistry with the female lead. So sexy still. Ugh!
