One and Only is the best drama in 2021 . How come the rate is so low ? something wrong?
Even YAMG currently has an avg rating of 8.8 in mdl, and this drama is just as good (in terms of overall acting and production quality). 😐 On the bright side, the rating went up by .1 from a day ago. I wonder if my previous "ranting" had anything to do with it hehehe. 😅

Sad but true. Hopefully there will be more viewers who will raise the rating back to 8.5 or higher. YAMG has an 8.8 rating and OaO is just as good, imo. 🙂
Xiao zhan and bai lu need to be in a drama together as main leads. I'm sure these two will do great together!

I didn't say if someone doesn't like a drama then they're anti-fan or an idiot. Everyone has likes and dislikes. But here's an fyi: there are anti-fans and idiots, and they would intentionally rate low even if they didn't watch a single clip or episode of this drama or any other drama .

Allen Ren is a great actor (and singer). I prefer him in wuxia dramas but liked him in the modern drama, Miss Crow with Mr. Lizard. It's not one of his best, but I still enjoyed watching it.🙂

I think Bai Lu has taken on more diverse roles in a shorter amount of time than many other popular Chinese actresses out there, even more so than Dilreba or YangZi. They're both great actresses, but from having watched several of their dramas, I found most of their characters they portrayed to be typical and similar. Imo, Dilreba's acting suits modern drama better than historical (ex. YAMG), though she looks great wearing any period dresses/costumes. Having acted from a very young age, YangZi has a longer filmography than Bai Lu, but her roles seemed to be generally limited to the pretty girl/goddess types and they are her strong suits.

I agree that Bai Lu is one of the best Chinese actresses if not the best. She's incredibly talented, expressive, and absolutely magical onscreen. She was born to be an actress, she was born to shine. C-drama world and fans are lucky to have her!

Supporting someone doesn't mean you can't be critical. And not all criticisms are negative. Some are disappointment or disagreement expressed as fans and others are meant to help actors/actresses improve. I'm a big fan of Bai Lu, but I've also been critical of her esp. on her character in JLO. And other fans may disagree with that, but that's my opinion. That doesn't mean I don’t respect or support her. Just like Allen has a right to choose what he wants or doesn't want to do as an actor, fans have the right to respectfully express their disappointment or discontent as long as they don't defame his reputation or character. That doesn't take away this fact though: Allen is a great actor and an equally great family man. Just wish he would be more liberal with his roles.

I thought BL and LYX fans were on good terms for the most part but now it's like deja vu (with XK fans) all over again. But I believe our LuLu is a stronger person now from surviving that horrible experience, and won't let those miserable idiots stand in her way of rising success.
