In the novel it wasn't a trap with the video taping. The patient had gone back to work early which caused her back to relapse. ZD was behind paying the husband to make a scene. HT had TS handle the matter paying them but telling them they had proof of patient not following the doctors order and going back to work. HT meets up with ZD and puts her in her place which only provokes her to spiral. In the drama they addee in that twists for more drama and with JX being able to help HT by getting the proof that the husband was beating her. The husband is an a hole in both.

I agree! From the previews/trailers and what's unfolded thus far it seems their break up will stay true to novel. It be about XingChen and their different views on love as the focus. After they break up there is growth before they reconcile. HT & JX both needed to make some adjustments. It was helpful to their relationship in the long run. We'll keep watching to see the progression. 😊

Yes, but HT from the start was trying to protect her and XingChen while feuding with HY, ZD, & C. It does led to their break up but they'll reconcile when HT is in the hospital.

The spoilers are fire! They look like a real couple. It's too sweet!!! ABAY might be my favorite modern drama this year. Halfway through and it keeps getting better. Overall, I have enjoyed the changes they've made from the novel.
