Lili's story in the drama is different from the novel. Her love story in the novel was a love affair with a married man the investor in the beginning. Who she will end up with is anyone's guess. As for HT and JX it comes down to her company and finding out he is behind Hanhai. It will all get resolved but initially JX feels hurt like she was just a pawn in his battle with his cousin. Their view of love is different so she also feels he does not love her as much as she loves him but when he sacrifices his life to save her they will reconcile. Actually she was planning on reconciling but the kidnapping occured before she had the chance.
