I agree! I love how they added more depth to LiLi & Tu Xiao Meng. It paints a more vivid picture for the drama. The novel focused mainly on HT & JX while the drama builds on each character and their unique stories.

ZD lights the match by putting doubts in JX's mind about their relationship and how much she really understands him. JX finds out HT is behind Hanhai and starts to distrust him. She sets up a trap for him that he already knew about but went with the plan to be able to get HY. JX feels hurt and betrayed by the situation like she was just a pawn in his battle with his cousin. She resigns but later it will get resolved. She'll come back as VP after the merger of Hanhai XingChen because President Chen was able to convince her. They also break up because their views of love is different so initially JX thinks he does not love her as much as she loves him but when he sacrifices his life to save her they will reconcile.
