it's very slow and dull so i dropped it after a half hour... i rly dont remember the manga being this flat? personally thought the actor for togawa looked too old and the actor for shima wasn't "pretty" enough but im gna assume casting is harder for BL movies so you rly cant be that picky. there was also a lack of chemistry. that plus the slow pace made it really awkward..
dropped at two episodes. tori is a blessing to this drama... besides him, all of the acting is horrible, mediocre at best. the concept of this story would be so great if the direction was clearer. there's no way to tell where the story is going, which makes for a great thriller, but the thing is... there's not even an indication of what this story is about. well, i guess... clones, but honestly, i have no idea what else, so really hard to stay interested. and i agree with the comment below, the camera work is so bad. they try to make it seem thrilling, but it's just tacky and annoying... also i hated the music. i mean, it was good, but so unfitting. overall, just something that could have been so much more, but instead turned out to be a disappointment. /-:
i love the concept of this drama and it's super cute, but yu is so annoying... i think the drama would be a lot better if koizumi was the only character....
started both the manga and anime and disliked the story line but im gna give this a chance just for kento... usually his live action shoujo roles are always so bland so hopefully this is a nice change
never watched the anime or read the manga so idk if the story closely follows the original story or not but the story was honestly alright.. the highlight of this drama truly was the acting. i won't comment on anything but the main actors bc that's rly the only reason why i watched this drama. kubota has played minor characters in two movies i've watched so when i found out he was one of the leads, i got really excited bc it meant it would be his time to shine and i was right. other comments say his acting was excessive, but i thought he was great. only someone with great talent can do over-the-top acting and he pulled off the change in light so well. as for L, i'm truly amazed. i love yamazaki kento, but even i'm aware he's not the best actor, even decent at best. he usually plays the quiet, guy next door type.. basically kind of bland and doesn't shine even if he's a main role. he proved me wrong with this role though. at first, i thought maybe he was just doing well bc he could use the anime or the live action movie as an example, but other comments said L is different in this so ig he pulled off a non-bland role on his own and i'm proud. i wouldn't say this is an absolute must watch, but i don't think i wasted my time either.
at first glance this drama looks very light.. almost smth to just pass on but i thought it really progressed into a meaningful drama.... im really happy masakkun did this drama
very stereotypical love story so i really should have hated it but i enjoyed it so much... it could be bc of takei emi and matsuzaka tori though lol they're such attractive people
also it's really fast-paced... esp the first hour.. then they kind of slowed down in the second hour. that's prob another reason why i really liked it bc i really hate the slow pace most movies/dramas take
Damn..!!!! the story is really messing!! It shoud be ebizuka trio rule Suzuran. and at the same time bitou tatsuya…
exactly!! i dont understand why they messed it is up like this... it was a chance for daito shunsuke to get a main role too! and a good one at that! hope they decide to still make one and just dont remember this movie..
posting a comment instead of a review bc my comments might be considered "spoilers"...
tbh i was about to drop this drama just bc ryuji was such a big fucking baby that it made the plot look so stupid but decided to keep going bc like the comment below, it's "ikemen overdose". overall, it's a really great drama about friendship and i'd recommend it to anyone looking for a light, feel-good type of show. i cried once, but bc i was so moved by chiaki and koki's friendship tbh... otherwise, it made me laugh a lot (esp tomoki! this is prob one of my fav roles of chiba yudai) and i remember rewinding a handful of scenes for that sole reason. i thought the acting was alright. yamazaki kento was so bland, but i have yet to watch his other works to see if it was bc of his acting or bc of his character. shinkawa yua was pretty horrible tbh, but she's not really a big enough character to make a difference. all in all, the only pretty irritating flaw of this drama is that it starts to focus on romance too much towards the end. romance was always kind of a hinted topic from the beginning, but the kind of twists they tried to do as the drama went on just made it really nonsensical and unnecessary...
i heard of it bc i love takuya and i watched it bc i love suspense, but i ended up stopping midway (it says the movie is 2hrs here, but where i watched it, it only had 1hr). i mean the story was good and it did have a climax that seemed interesting, but takuya is a very bland actor. he's not horrible, but he doesn't react enough, so i ended up feeling nothing at all while watching and quickly got bored. especially with suspense, i feel like movies and dramas should always make you feel a little excited, but i got nothing. sorry taks.
i liked this manga so when i found out it was going to be a live action months ago i was so excited and then to find out chantomo was playing one of the leads!!! ugh too excited!!!!!
