Well.. if they like SML, they should just find one of those short dramas where there's plenty of characters like him for them to fantasise over haha. We know that the ML and FL end up together, they don't have to continue to complain about a show that's not their cup of tea. It'll save them a lot of grief XD

i guess that's why they're all hyping up the SML cuz he seems more direct with his intentions/ admiration for FL. But they're not looking deep enough in my opinion (he sees her more as a prize)

yeah they think he's more chivalrous - but whats the point if he's so shady in other areas (e.g. cultivating a spy in ML's company). Even if SML did get with FL, i dont think FL could turn a blind eye to his or his father's business tactics. Also up till ep19, he seems to still use FL as a trophy against ML

a lot of people are falling for SML's apparent chivalry. But i think they're missing SML is so much more shady in regards how he treats people. OK he might genuinely develop feelings for FL later on but i dont think FL can turn a blind eye to SML's shady business tactics etc

this is happening with Huangyang Tiantian as well... I'm not against the girls wanting to be leads, but i think the problem is that there aren't very many choices for high quality dramas that are based on youth for lead roles, like Blood of Youth.

directors should cast a male lead that is around her age. I remember Wu Lei, when he was younger, led in those type of shows like Fights Break Sphere (2018). He had a love interest there, but she was around his age so it felt more natural.

A show like that or Blood of Youth with the friendships / squad type of trope would be really fitting for Aimi, but I haven't seen a decent ones like those lately.

even if she did, cant blame her, the industry is ruthless when it comes to beauty standards. some people change their looks to get roles they want.

i really can't excuse the episodes after ep 32/33. Why did they add so much whiplash then. It's not even the kind of angst that's understandable -- it's just plain annoying.
I love the cast so much. Wished the storyline didn't become so messy.
