Thanks! I'm doing good! I hope it stays that way for the rest of 2014! :) I see you're watching 'You Who Came From The Stars' and 'Empress Ki'. How are they?

Hello! Thanks for the friend request! Happy New Year and hope you're enjoying it here at MDL! :)
Hey, Joe! Happy New Year! You're still funny as ever! :D I've only watched two 2013 Jdramas and I've just started Ando Lloyd. (That's why I didn't vote...) :P Pathetic, I know! I pinky promise to watch more this year! XD

Aigoo, good for you. I already knew about midway who she was going to end up with that I wanted to see what else the drama had in store for me. It's such a shame it never really explored any real challenge for the lead pair, and had sacrificed its supporting cast and the overall growth and pace of the story for one premise that literally dragged on until the last episode.
That aside though, the scenes with the parents tugged at my heart so and good gawd, Sung Dong Il ahjusshi really got me good and when Il Hwa omoni cried, I felt like something stabbing at my chest--I can't bear to see her cry, it feels like disappointing my own mom :'(
Are you liking In a Good Way so far? They say its similar to the Reply series. I hope they don't troll as much, I mean I'd like the mystery but another overload of red herrings and I'd probably hit my laptop! XD
I'm glad you included King of Dramas on your list. It's missing in action from 2012 and 2013 MDL polls.

Thank you too for making much more thought-out posts. Your post on Ep 21 was heartwarming and I don't think I could have been collected and level-headed. Elsewhere in cyberworld, everybody is either satisfied or unsatisfied and there are still remnants of the shipping wars. Have you been to soompi? They're suspended again!
In all honesty, I wanted to release all my frustration and how shitty I felt after watching the finale raw. I wonder when will I ever get the motivation to watch it subbed! God knows how this drama has affected me so much! I am glad you actually handled all the feels after the ending. You know how I always say be ready for the heartbreak? Aw gawd, it was more like an advice for myself. I finally cried after reading GF's recap on db. TT___TT

Part 2:
I enjoyed the first half real fine, though somewhere in the middle I felt the story was not going the way I expected and every ep that aired confirmed that for me. But it wasn't enough that I was already disappointed with that. I became dismayed at how the story's narrative was put aside for the sake of keeping one mystery alive 'til the end, and the drama viewing public suffered until it became a shipping war. R94's drama thread on soompi is now on its second suspension because of that.

Oh gawd, I can't believe my comment didn't post! And I was anticipating what you thought of it.
Ok, well I think it's good that it didn't then because it looked like more of a rant than an actual objective recommendation. Right now, I'm in the process of regaining that objectivity. Truthfully, I had anticipated the ending and the heartbreak. I had stepped back several episodes ago to see where the writer was taking me, but even with the knowledge of what's to come I guess I was so attached to one character that I could not not get affected.
I lmao-ed all the way to the end of your article! And those pics! So hilarious! XD Especially the Chinglish/Konglish transliterated subs--hahahahaha!
I like the subs where they offer a bit of explanation to word that is commonly used throughout the drama. The more you hear key words, the more you are able to distinguish how foreign languages are structured and understand the context of the words being used. Like how in Asian countries, third person pronouns like he or she are asexual and therefore can be used to pertain to either sex without giving away the gender.
I also like subs that are translated to fit the era of the drama. I watched an episode of Qing Shi Huang Fei last night and guffawed a bit when the military general said 'It takes two to tango' and couldn't help but comment that QSHF is a Chinese drama with a historical setting. How would ancient Chinese people know how to tango! Hahaha!

He is crazily charismatic, magnetic, enigmatic~~oh gawd! And we are crazy somehow--over him! XD XD Who knew he was actually the underdog. I'm fretting over his future. Is it me or is Ruby Lin's fake lashes are really disturbing my viewing pleasure? Every time she flutters her eyes it feels like she's fanning herself! XD XD Hee~!
I think you're having fun and that's great! :D Happy holidays to you too, sweets!
