Yes, I did! :) I worked more with the production crew than the acting cast so I was more acquainted with props, costume, and other technical aspects. I did minor roles and extras though. I can imagine you in a fine Victorian dress and the men in their

Ohh! I see the reference to P&P otp! Why oh why! I think I'll be doing a lot of reading than watching this year! O__O So many books and dramas but so little time! And they made an N&S TV adaptation as well! Woooow! Richard Armitage looks the part too! He does look dreamy! <3

Wow! Reading about it makes me miss theater, and we never did any plays on English classics. We only made local and contemporary ones in college.

Oh, Mr. Knightley! *swoon!* And speaking of Knightley, I saw a trailer on the film adaptation of Pride and Prejudice (the one with Keira Knightley) and did a search on the characters and hmmmm *_* I'm kinda looking forward to watching it--and they got Donald Sutherland as Mr. Bennet (I love Mr. Bennet!) and Ms. Judy Dench as Lady Catherine de Bourgh! (I can almost see her flaring nostrils now! XD) If I get lucky, I'll read more Jane Austen books this year than I've ever read classic lit in high school and college! XD

I simply adore 18th century English costume! Although I don't think I'd like to wear them but I find them really fascinating! The dances too! :D I saw an adaptation of Jane Eyre and have also read the book a long time ago but I am in need of refreshing my acquaintance with Jane Austen. I liked Emma (the Gywneth Paltrow film version) too and I bet the book would be humorous as well.

Is the 1995 adaptation the one with Colin Firth in it? From BBC? I've heard a lot about that from a good friend living in Denmark and she absolutely raves about it. :) After I finish the book I think I'll watch it too!

Hahaha~! I can't get over the fuschia comment! XD Well I just hope she does a good job! A long time ago I saw a chuseok special where she and Lee Dong Wook starred in nd it was just awful! :P

There are fat jokes in Incarnation of Money? Sheesh! I honestly think Korean people are vain sometimes. They strive so hard to be perfect in their appearance, they even make plastic surgery seem like an ordinary thing!

I know! They're so fast I cant even skip a moment or else I'd be missing something.

I want to marathon QSHF again but I'm being held up by Jane Austen's classic, Pride and Prejudice--funny stuff and I like the heroine and her father. I'm halfway through the book, hopefully I can get back to watching again in the next couple of days!

I was actually tempted to read your reviews! :D But I was afraid of getting spoiled so I just read the first few sentences of each before stopping. :) I'm not really into business/corporate drama and I must tell you, I have lukewarm feelings for Kim Ok Bin as an actress however I'm keeping faith that both dramas will deliver solid stories that will leave lingering impressions.

Indeed, wuxia is enjoyable and not to mention the developments in an episode are overwhelming!

Empire of Gold...will be a challenge for me to watch. I hope to find it as addictive as the comments on the drama…
I'd like a good family drama although I'm not much of a fan of corporate/business genre. Thanks though, Cheerie! :)

Empire of Gold...will be a challenge for me to watch. I hope to find it as addictive as the comments on the drama page says. I'm also a bit reluctant to start Sword and Flower. Biblia got my attention though and that one goes to my ptw.

Thanks for posting the upcoming dramas, Twinkle! I've got my eyes set on some of these and I'll wait for them to get subbed and finish airing so I can marathon them. :)

Ikr, it's so frustrating. And now Qi Xing is abusing his new found power so he remains protected. But you know, I'm enjoying the ride so much! The developments are fast and I'm very entertained at how the story is written. The actors are also doing an awesome job at fleshing out their characters.

I'm looking forward to seeing Liu Lian Cheng and Meng Qi You battle it out!

Good gawd, I sobbed horribly at the scene with his mom in front of the armor I don't know, all their lines are so heavy and full of emotion. :'(

LOL I have to say Qi Xing was a spoiled brat but seeing him cower like that, I know he's young and a mama's boy but really, what a great disappointment!

I love Hui Kara, the actress who portrays Empress Du. She's got so much going on and yet she's so dignified, and I love all her scenes with Qi You, they always get to me.

My gawd, Fu Ya doesnt know her younger brother was the one who presented Qi You to Lian Cheng. O__O And omg, Han Ming ratting out on their battle plans when he's clearly feeling guilty--AUGH!

I'm marathoning QSHF now so I'll have time for the other dramas waiting in line. (Sooooo many! XD)

Ahh you've gone ahead in the episodes. :) I was kinda hoping Jun Pyo wouldn't give in for Xiao Yun and his mom. I'm currently watching Ep 22 where he has just succeeded the throne and he was roasting the minister.

You seriously have second lead syndrome. If you go on that way, I think you'd still like Reply 1994 and the spoiler may actually be a blessing in disguise--well it's not in disguise anymore. XD

That sounded horrible, but in a drama making a reference to that sounds like a no-nonsense realistic drama!

Yeaah~~I'll have to shelve Prime Minister and I and check it out on a non-busy afternoon. I went back to QSHF/Intro to the Princess and I realized how much I missed Meng Qi You and his beautiful face. ^-^ I think I'll marathon this first...:)

I wasn't sure I'd like the premise of You Who Came from the Stars even though I like both Kim Soo Hyun and Jeon Ji Hyun's acting very much. But dramabeans say it's funny?

I'm looking forward to watching Empress Ki! I hope it's as good as they say!

Cheerie, would you like an ice pack to relieve your headache? :\

Of the awards I am glad about: Hong Soo Hyun and Baek Jin Hee getting an award each. I hope to see them take on more challenging roles this year. And I so agree, Jin Hee looks stunning in her simple but elegant dress.

Uee, girl, what are you wearing...?

I think SKorean TV awards are the only ones that nominate still airing dramas…I mean how is that even possible...how…
ahahaha~! That flowery jacket didn't escape me either. Have you heard of Silver Bells? *looks at Ha Ji Won's sleeves* ~~It's Christmas time in the city~~ XD

Omo! What shocking event is that?? Okay, now I'm definitely intrigued! I will start watching that after I finish Legal High. (I feel guilty not watching Japanese dramas more often!)

And you watching Yoona...I still haven't gotten over how she knocked me to sleep in Cinderella Man. I don't even know how my mom went through all of that. Goodness and the comments say she improved a lot? This I got to see.

I'm a sucker for Japanese sci-fi stories, I guess. I kind of got fascinated at the way they term things in Ando Lloyd--like '5D print out', 'brain data', 'activating Asura operating system' and so on. Plus it was short and it didn't drag. :)

Ahh, then the narratives would be a pull for the show. I see several MDLers watching it and it has made me curious. I think I'll check that out one of these days.

Haha! Kimura plays an eccentric scientist (complete with glasses and Einstein hair!) and his chemistry with Shibasaki Kou is the bomb! Got to tell you, I'm not that into Kimura Takuya and this is my first time getting acquainted with Shibasaki (although I saw her in the first three episodes of Orange Days)--but they are so cute together! XD I'll be finishing it today! :)
