Aw gosh, I re-read the summary of Wuthering Heights because it was such a long time ago when I saw that movie adaptation and what I recalled from it left a deep impression about revenge. That's not to say that I liked it because for my age then (about 12 or 13), it was too mature a film that everything that happened in it was shocking.

I'd have to see Timothy Dalton as Mr. Rochester! I'm watching these clips of him already...but I can't seem to wipe off James Bond on him. XD Between Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights though, I think I'd be more inclined to see the former. :D

Isn't his eyes gorgeous? I think his is blue-grey but I sometimes think they're blue-green. What color are yours? Mine's dark brown, and everybody else here in the whole archipelago of the Philippines too. XD So there you go, my infatuation with different eye colors! (You must be bored to death! XD On to part two!)

That series must be really good then! Mine is a list of older men (thank God! Because I was beginning to wonder if all I care about were younger male actors--they're so darn attractive!) including Johnny Depp, Patrick Dempsey, Ralph Fiennes and so on. :D Delve on! What about those costume dramas and British tv shows? Were you thinking of anything in particular?

When that scene came up, I was stifling a scream because my girls were sleeping beside me. XD And I was holding the tablet up and shaking it not to end yet! LOL How weird it must have looked if my younger daughter saw me like that lol. In the adaptations so far, I like Gaskell better than Jane Austen in terms of setting and description of society and politics whereas Austen concentrates more on romance, moral and conduct. I guess the time period and circumstances that they were in had a lot of influence on their writing.

And talking about transformations, have you seen Sparkhouse? I read at IMDb that it's a modern adaptation of Wuthering Heights (see now we're going from Jane Austen and Elizabeth Gaskell to Emily Bronte LOL) and RA starred in it! Q__Q His character is said to be a shy farm boy who, after getting a clean haircut and a suit, transforms into a handsome lady-killer. I don't know what else is there, though I hope it's a light, humorous (if that's possible) adaptation because there was a Filipino adaptation of the novel and from what I recall, it was dark and a bit heavy-drama.

Oh gawd, Secret! I don't think I'll ever get over my obsession with RA anytime soon so I guess I need to change my 'Currently Infatuated with' section of my profile. This is the first time I'll put someone who's not from Asia on that spot!

There's still part 3! XD XD

It is strange! I better get a move on with those Lord of the Rings movies that I so neglected to watch so I can start on the first Hobbit movie!

Oh gawd! I've been reading and reading and reading stuff at IMDb about those actors (because they were in this list LOL http://www.imdb.com/list/sXRxkfpXk0E/?ref_=nm_rls_1) and noticed that too! I thought,'wow, it really is a small world!' even if they werent at MI-5 all at the same time, they share a couple of things in common.

Whoops, before I exceed, there's part two! XD

Thanks to him, I am now reminded of my own little list of several older foreign actors who I consider very attractive. And now he's added to it! XD

Oh! I still can't get over the train station scene last night and at long last he smiled when he saw her at the opposite end of station! Q__Q Why do they always hang the ending? I wanted to see them settled in Milton! I half-expected more of their show of affection or at least see him ask her what brought about the change in her affections! Their situation and circumstances were certainly complicated that I wanted to see a follow through even if only they flashed scenes of the mill operating again, how Thornton's mother and Margaret repaired their relationship etc. But then I guess the book didn't mention much about those, or did it?

Ahh, that kiss on his hand, I saw that one too on the P&P movie adaptation! But the kiss at the end~~! Kyaaaaaaaaa~! XD XD I can't get over it! Q__Q

Aw gawd. My comment didn't post again! :( And I was raving about it to you as soon as I finished it last night! I was talking to the tablet and shaking it not to be over yet! Q__Q Huwaaaa~! I got so addicted I want to watch it over and over again!

And even now, I'm so side-tracked, my browser is full of open tabs all about Richard Armitage and his arsenal of works! Q__Q Huwaaaa~! I can't believe he played Thorin--what a total transformation (even though I haven't started watching The Hobbit movie series yet! JRR Tolkien is another writer I wanted to get to know more about and I've wanted to read his works for the longest time).

Hahaha! 'I've Seen Hell' is an apt title. I certainly wouldn't have thought of that one. XD I loved the OST and will download it if I'm lucky enough to momentarily stop my obsession over Mr. Dreamy Armitage. There's part 2! XD

I LOVED it! And when the scene showed Thornton at the background, I thought immediately he must be the god in that snow-white Hell! XD Gawd, Secret, I even fell in love with the music! The piano instrumentals nailed it so perfectly!

And no wonder Richard Armitage is so dreamy! Q__Q He plays the character with so much passion! He's got the eyes, the voice and conviction to play it! Yes, he is more articulate than Mr. Darcy, and Mr. Darcy is more reserved and withdrawn. And like you, I find myself liking Mr. Thornton so much more, and the way Richard Armitage is fleshing his character out makes me an instant admirer. :)

If you were addicted to the books, then I should really read them first before watching the show! I tend to love the book more and compare whether the adaptations were faithful to the original.

Currently I am hooked on BBC's North and South (I owe it all to your great recommendation!) but I'm now wondering whether it was wise to see the tv adaptation before reading the book! But I think BBC makes faithful adaptations and just like P&P, I feel N&S is just as close to the book! I finished Episode 1 an hour ago and I enjoyed it very much! I'm fascinated in the period that the drama is in, and to think that the otp already started bickering and Thornton has a flaw makes him rather attractive. Between this and P&P, I think I like N&S' reference to the political climate of the period and the changes in society. I'd probably end up d-loading the series too! ^_^

My goodness, has it really been 4 days since you left a message? I was so busy I didn't notice! I finally finished P&P (I'm so delighted! ^_^), just finished watching the 2005 movie version and am now currently watching the 1995 mini-drama version. I am d-loading the torrents so I can enjoy watching in higher resolution. The ones on yt are 240p, I can't see Colin Firth's young face! XD

Oh! And I finally moved on two episodes on QSHF! I am glad A Nu recalls who he is and recognized his sister as well. I'm worried at what Qi You and Fu Ya were doing at the end of episode 32. They're like 'let's die together!' but with Jun Pyo around I bet he'll detain Fu Ya and couldn't care less what happens to Qi You!

Ah, but I need to hold off at least for now. I'll be back later today to watch more. I'm intrigued with Games of Thrones as well. I've heard so much about it but don't know what it is! :)

After seeing Han Ji Min in the posters, I got stoked and realized how much I missed seeing her in a hanbok! And a be-moustached Hyun Bin!~~*speechless*
Replying to palak Jan 23, 2014
Are you telling me Ha Ji Min plays Hyun Bin's stepmom in this movie? O.o
she's his step-GRANDmom ;)
HeidiLyon Jan 22, 2014
Yes! Thank you for featuring Emergency Couple! It's already on my PTW and I'll watch it while it's airing! I am so wanting to see Song Ji Hyo and Choi Jin Hyuk as leads and I bet their chemistry is off the roof! That poster~~hmmmm mmmhhhmmm! :D

I'm not so excited for The Full Sun/Beyond the Clouds...the writer of Dream High 2 and the director of Wild Romance...yeaaaaahh~~no.

Congratulations to Joo Won, Joo Sang Wook and Moon Chae Won for their awards! Joo Won's character in L7CS doesn't even compare to the challenge that Joo Won had to portray in Good Doctor. I'll leave it the people who are experts on autism and those who have watched the drama to make their criticism.

I have yet to see Secret and overcome my bad first impressions on Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum. I liked Lee Da Hee in I Hear Your Voice where her character was an anti-heroine of sorts. And thank God she wore a lively hued dress rather than picking another bridal gown like the one she wore to SBS' drama awards.

At the bottom pic: Park Shin Hye's dress reminds me of my grandmother's wedding dress. :P And I thought Kim So Hyun's pretty short dress looks perfect for a young teenager. Her heels are a bit high for her age though, but even those look gorgeous.
On High Kick Season 3 Jan 21, 2014
I've said everything I can about it as truthfully as I can. This, an awesome drama? I think that's a matter of opinion. Lots of family dramas out there that you can watch where I'm sure will warm your hearts without pulling your hair.

Congratulations on wasting your time on Just You! Haha!

Beginning to think if I'd pick up 'Love, Now' anytime soon, what with an not-so novel plot with the same couple as Love Around for like 72 episodes?! I know George Hu is pretty, but I don't to feel like I need to endure watching an actor I like in a horribly-written drama. No thanks, I don't want to feel like High Kick 3 all over again.

Oh gawd, Choi Kang Hee. I'm sorry but I couldn't stand the way she acts. I can't see any difference from her character in PtB and I just couldn't go on. God knows if I'll ever pick L7CS from my On Hold list ever again. And yes, it's not as funny. :\

Yes, eyes are very important! If they're not magnetic, the character would be boring!

I know, right! Goodness if Xiang Yun was to become Zheng Er again, I was going to skip all her scenes! I have to see where Fu Ya's plans take her. She seems too complacent that she even told Jun Pyo that she and Qi You are lovers. Hello, did you forget he has him prisoner!? Augh. I just hope they don't prolong his imprisonment and wish he'd devise a plan to break out.

Oh Qi Xing has an attitude now that he became emperor again. Wow, big character development, I must say. Props to the actor, he's got his role down to a T. I could almost strangle him for being so full of himself!

Oh gawd, Richard Armitage's eyes are gorgeous--round and very expressive! I need to read it before I see the tv adaptation. :)

Finally got back to watching QSHF! Augh! Xiang Yun is getting on my nerves!! And Jun Pyo...I am torn, he has a good and a bad side. And now Qi You is reduced to a side-character. :\
