Prince of Lan Ling is about a prophecy of a Chinese army general who earns the blessing of a priestess. They have a tragic fate which they are about to know...and I don't know if they try to change it... I'm only at episode 2 but I'm liking it so far. :)
Tell me more about Passionate Love and Hanzawa Naoki. :)

I'm watching two wuxias: Prince of Lan Ling and Legend of the Condor Heroes (2008) and one sci-fi Japanese drama, Mirai Nikki :) What about you?
I am overwhelmed by Jung Il Woo's big picture. I will put it in my PTW.
Wahahahahahaha! :D

We can discuss on the thread so we can feel free to post what's happening in the drama and spoilers can just be put in white text. We can also put up pics of the drama too if we feel like it. :)
The graphical presentation of the war, the special effects for the bird and the village are noticeably smooth. I read a comment on a wuxia once that computer graphics were low-budget and it somehow affected their viewing experience. I can't recall what wuxia it was but def here, the graphics leveled up.
The battle tactics were a bit impressive (and I was reminded of 300 the movie). There really is a lot to learn from the Chinese when it comes to war and tactics. Oh, here I go again, I need to know who's who and brush up on my Chinese history. Knowing me, I'd probably end up reading wikipedia and searching who they were and what kind of relationship they have with each other.
Oh Granny knew a long time ago they were fated to meet! She should know it's futile to fight with destiny or fate, LOL! Ikr! I was thinking, girl, do you not notice how muscular those arms are? Are you blind like your granny? Hahaha! Yes, very wuxia with those falling red petals, foggy surroundings and flute music! :D

hi! so sorry for the late reply. I got tied with the chores earlier so I'll be reading that after I finish ep 1 :) will let you know what I think after the hour. :)
Such a spot-on article! Every once in a while, we come across that drama where the magnitude of its effect just leaves us devastated. The last time a drama did this to me, I made it to Stage 3, skipped Stage 4, repeated Stage 2, before finally reaching stages 5-7.
I realize when you try to watch another drama in this period of drama grief, you get pissed off at how imperfect these other dramas are. When it happens to me, I take a break from watching to cool off (this can take months depending on how heavy the drama grief is). The heaviest grief for me was Queen Seon Duk.

you surely aren't timid. :) And I don't think your style is nonsense. It's no-nonsense!
Exactly what happened to me after watching Startling by Each step!! Thanks for your article.
Is Bu Bu Jing Qing something to look forward to?
