They say this adaptation had changes in the characters particularly how a few of them evolve into villains. Yuan Hong is doing a great job being villain-ey with all his facial expressions and desperate martial arts action. I'd like to see Hu Ge in another drama (where his character uses his brain for a change! lol) because if I stop here his acting in this will stay in my head and discourage me to watch him in anything else. :P

It's based on the same webtoon as the Kdrama Fashion King is based on but a different adaptation. It would be cool to see him transform from 'dorky' to 'hottie'! It's like Park Si On becoming Lee Kang To!

Though now I really want to finish Legends and move on to something lighter. I can't stand Hu Ge's character, he's such a dummy it's painful to watch him get duped every time.

I'd hate it if she'd dominate the show. And it really made me wonder too if she was a historical figure. For sure, history books mentioned the rivalry between Gao Wei and Gao Chang Gong, so I would have understood it even without a Zheng Er angle. What a match Gao Wei and Zheng Er would be if they did marry--yep, a match made in hell! LOL

I'd jump ship too! That's why we need a good Daniel Chan drama, or else I'll never get over this second male lead syndrome. :)

I feel horrible at what happened to her but I think they could have made a better story without it. I mean even without that element, having Gao Wei and Zheng Er meet is already enough. I'm sure Gao Wei has a more solid reason to take the OTP down, now that Zheng Er told him so. Gawd, I really have a very bad feeling about her.

Yes, I agree with you, Fourth Lord's apology is not enough and I hate Xue Wu for being so docile! Compared to her role in Condor Heroes, I like Ruang Hong better.

My dear, by the end of Ep 25 onwards, the story will be less infuriating. By Ep 26, we get to see His Majesty again. I've got to tell you I'm not in the least bit happy about Fourth Lord's belated repentance (I can't find the right term for it).

I'm taking a break after Ep 27. I just wish Yuwen Yong would get more screen time and love lol *wishful thinking* I think I'll need to find a Daniel Chan drama later. :P

About Empress Ki, I'm planning to watch it after it airs about 15 episodes or maybe even more. I can't stand waiting for eps to be aired and subbed especially so when this is going to be 50 episodes with almost two hours per ep.

I tried watching 'til Ep 24 because I was hoping Milord will appear. But the story is gravitating at that vile woman! It irritates me to watch her snake her way in. The worse part is the Fourth Lord and Xue Wu are keeping things from each other. The classic lack of communication... -_-#

I hope all goes well in Ep 25, else I'll be pulling my hair in frustration!

Haiya, the episodes turned foul.

Why did the writers do this? Zheng Er can go in and out of the Fourth Lord's kitchen, and the people who are responsible for managing the household is letting her do chores that she isn't supposed to do. The sad thing is they let her get away with it! Ugh! Not so happy right now!

I'm getting distracted by your avi Q___Q...I almost wrote 'Hi Handsome' to you! @___@ Huwaaaaaaa! Ep 21 didn't even give a peek of Milord! I was disappointed Xiao Dong had to leave, I mean really, he let Zheng Er's words get to him. He should've stayed there to protect Xue Wu. But it's a good thing the Dowager went there. I'll be looking forward to a lighter mood on ep 22.
