Poor Lee Da Hae, she became the object of criticism. Gawd, these accidents and these actors insisting on shooting instead of going to the hospital~! Makes you really wonder why they have to shoot live when they can shoot in advance and save themselves the pressure and health risk! Talk about serious cramming! Whew!
I would say I enjoyed the drama although there were some moments that I feel the story is very typical and cannot…
Indeed, there were moments of injustice and when they seemed so intolerable, I turned to reading about what happened in the era. To know that they were so much worse in real life made me see things in proper perspective.
Secret and I both love Yuwen Yong and personally I wished he had more scenes than the tangent the drama chose to highlight.
Now I really want to watch this!!! But I'm watching so many dramas at the moment that it will be hard to squeeze…
@Archania: Thanks for the compliment. :) Our original idea was actually wackier than the tone of the guide (with stars for beauty and 'date-ability' lol) but we didn't want our readers to think the drama would be more comedic in tone than it was intended to be so we tried our best to present it in an enticing yet non-spoiler-y fashion.
I'm actually very lucky to have Secret as my writing partner because she has a unique way with words and writing with her was such an enriching experience. Looking forward to do more projects with her so please anticipate our future collabs! :D

Yay! Our article is out! Chukhanda~! *virtual hug*
This looks like an interesting drama especially with Ariel Lin as the main heroine. Where can I watch the drama…
It's on viki as Lan Ling Wang: http://www.viki.com/tv/7894c-lan-ling-wang

Oh I'd love to see Sun Quan grow! He's so much wiser than Sun Ce although his gu-gu will become emperor (I haven't read anything much on them other than the fact that Sun Ce establishes one of the three kingdoms).
Lu Bu is indeed legendary but somewhere somehow he got screwed up pretty bad...don't wanna tell details. Just don't fall too much for him. :D That said, I'd still want to see how he grows in the drama and when Zhu Ge Liang will come into play. I keep on looking at the ending credits and see how old Cao Cao had become and if he's that old, I hope we'll see grown-up Sun Quan as well.

I saw that and it did look like smaller feathers. The actor who played the younger Yushin was Lee Hyun Woo! :D
Episode 7 was awesome! It's nice to see they have another set of protagonists to focus on. Sun Quan is a son to have--just like Cao Cao said. And he sure yelled at his gu-gu! But Sun Ce will found a new dynasty after that.
I did some checking on Diaochan and she's supposed to be one of the Four Beauties of ancient China (the other three ladies are from different dynasties). I don't know the extent of her relationship with Lu Bu yet (but we can already see it is going to be rough!), but wiki says that although there were stories about her and Lu Bu in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, there was no strong evidence to prove that she really existed in real life.
Gawd, I love your list! They're all different genres so people can try whichever drama that can get them out of slump.
Thank you for making me rethink of watching ISWAK and TKA. I recently 'discovered' Ariel Lin and I like how she acts. Honestly, 50 episodes seem ordinary to me nowadays and it's true, time flies when you're watching good dramas. :)
A couple of side-notes:
Mirai Nikki is one odd drama--like Twilight Zone creepy and weird. But it will make sense as it progresses to the end.
OB is a family drama though so for the peeps who don't like cranky old grannies and complicated family woes, not for you guys. But if that's nothing to you and you like connecting sub-plots, then OB has something to offer you if you look beyond the characters' facade.

The posters are even unimaginative! :P But they totally make it up with stellar acting. :) The feathers were apparently real so those rpg adaptations are accurate. I can't recall Yushin having those long feathers though?
I like her because I get the impression that any drama she's in we'll be treated to some really great kisses!…
It is~! Darn smooch said everything! XD

That part was incredible! I loved it as well. :)
The drama works with a great story and great acting of a superb cast. I want to read more but I don't want to spoil it. I want to see Lu Bu with the antennae-like headdress though. That would be a sight! I saw a historical drawing of him earlier and he had one on just like those RPG renditions. :)

bottom left is from Goong, bottom right is from Lie to Me when they were singing

I've only watched one episode so far today. Though I started reading some on the Three Kingdoms, Cao Cao and Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. Cao Cao is way too diabolical for me. He's a great strategist because he's a cavalry commander but he's also an opportunist like Dong Zhou.
Oh Sun Jiang's youngest son was indeed adorable! Haha! I only know Sun Ce will establish one of three.
I'm curious as to what will happen to Lu Bu. My gawd, Peter Ho in action is just asdfghjk! He plays his role so good!
Finally YEH has a stalker's guide. :) This makes me realize I haven't seen her in anything after Lie To Me and Little Black Dress, which are both...:\ But I appreciated her role as Shin Chae Kyung in Goong/Princess Hours; she was more memorable to me in that drama than anywhere else.

I don't see any tactics in the battles just constant slashing lol but before that battle in the 4th episode, Yuan Gu slicing off that general's head didn't seem gory to me. On the contrary, it felt so satisfying to see that arrogant general finally got cleaved AND those warlords got served.
I haven't read anything, just the RPG profiles of the characters. :D I'm curious who Zhu Ge Liang is because his name kept popping up when I did LLW searches.

San, thank you! My family and loved ones are doing fine; we live far away from the areas most hit by the storm. Indeed, there are no right words for this horrible tragedy. Thank you for your prayers! The international community has been helping so much it is touching! TT____TT
