Has anyone else seen Sistar's Hyorin/ Hyolyn new MV "One Way Love" where Yoo Yeon Seok plays her boyfriend?…
My dears, I love this song and MV better than that.

I Am sounds so tender and Sakanaction's Music reminds me of David Guetta's upbeat music. I love it!

Ah 'nee-chan would sound more comfy!

I'd love to listen to your 'collection'! I've always wanted to make a list of those songs (though mine are a few songs from movies)and compile them in an article.

I have to add that to my ever-growing PTW list! XD I just noticed yesterday my PTW became orange. Apparently when you reach 101 at any of those stats, the bar turns orange. :D Well until then I have 21 more dramas to finish before I see that orange bar. :D

But I'd rather you call me Unnie than sunbae. It's so formal! Also, I'd rather call you uri dongsaengie than my hoobae--it's awkward!

Yiii! I'll be looking forward to your rants~and don't worry, I like reading so go ahead! I'm all for it. :) Hmmm...I just love mellow songs and guitar riffs...

Hello! Thanks for the request! I hope we can be good friends here at MDL! I see you're watching Prince of Lan Ling! :) How is it for you? :)

Haha! I think it's qianbei--sounds so much similar to sunbae. Waah, this is the first time someone is calling me sunbae/senpai! But I don't feel much of a sunbae since you've seen much more than I have lol! :) 24 is young but you definitely have a mature side to you. :)

I've seen Sealed with a Kiss across the forums, how is it? I can't wait for you to start the first season--you must tell me what you think about the leads! I haven't the slightest idea about the first gen idol groups so I think it's great to have knowledge about them beforehand.

Also I need to tell you, Shiwon isn't exactly my ideal heroine and there were some times that her stubbornness and fangirlism went too extreme, I didn't appreciate it. But Yoon Jae will balance that out and Shiwon will also grow a bit as it progresses. Ok, I need to stop! Haha! Be sure to check out Confession by Delispice--it's my fave song!

He can sing. But like Joo Won, he's more of an actor than a a singer. Oh my, you're still a young lady! :) KSH is 10 years younger than me! :D Aw but I am shaking my head and crossing my arms at his new project. A Korean alien drama that spans 400 years is something I can't see myself watching. :(

I have a feeling you will like the series because apart from the humor, there are voice-over musings from the characters where they offer a moral lesson or a piece of realization at the scenario that is being presented. So there are LOL funny moments (plenty!) but there are heart-tugging moments as well.:)

As to music reference, Season 1 is more focused on H.O.T. and Sech Kies and lightly touches on Shinhwa and TVXQ. But as the drama develops, fangirlism becomes a side-story. In season 2, it's Seo Tai Ji and Boys but sports are more highlighted than music here.

part 2:

Reply '94 is easy to understand because most of the instances are general and popular culture. And what's great about this series, even for the first one, is that they don't try to sound complicated.

There's one that cracked me up last night. The girl is from Masan (they have a different dialect there) and the boy is from Seoul. At their boarding house, she cleans up the shoe rack and finds out her oppa's slippers are missing. The boy tries to help her and ask her what kind of shoes they were and she says they're 'ddal ddal'. Well in their dialect the word means slippers but apparently anywhere else in Korea it's masturbation! LMAO! XD And she keeps on ranting where the heck those ddal ddal went and why her oppa likes those ddal ddal so much LOL! The boy just stands there where initially he's shocked to hear it, he kind of stares blankly! XD XD

LOL agree to that! KSH turning into Go Soo. Huh? XD

Oh gawd. Kim Soo Hyun was my first man-boy crush after Dream High. I got hooked to his character the moment he sang while imagining Suzy was singing along with him. I found out later that he really sang in the series and didn't have any voice double. But you know, after that, I still have to find another project where he's worth remembering.

there's part 2! XD

I did notice that in Mulan and now in Butterfly Lovers. I haven't heard about the others though.

Yeah, whew! With the exception of HYS, I think the actors did fine but the story is just too dull. And I only got to watch Will it Snow from knowing Kim Soo Hyun (he played the younger version of Go Soo) who I watched previously in Dream High. So the drama was an intro of sorts for me to everybody else in it.

I'm surprised I'm enjoying Reply '94's pace. Well, so far so good. It brings back the flavor from the previous season and the humor is definitely Korean--a mix of foul language, toilet humor, puns and regional distinction/discrimination. They put bits and pieces of trivia circa 1994 like Ace of Base, the beeper, Jang Dong Gun in a basketball drama LOL!

Lmfao Caocaostitlskin! XD XD

I've heard about Butterfly Lovers before but I think it was the movie adaptation. Too bad yt doesn't have the complete series.

Ah then I don't regret putting Will it Snow on hold. Right there in the middle it started to get nowhere and it became draggy. I almost dropped it! You can imagine how I started to feel about Han Ye Seul after that. It was a good thing I liked Song Jong Ho in TPM after that and then in Reply 1997 or else he would have been included in the imaginary list of Korean actors I avoid watching!

I would love to watch Jung Ryeo Won and Joo Ji Hoon act together but if it's like what you say, then I don't have to watch it right away.

Puhahahahaha! XD That chuckle is so awkward for Cao Cao! I keep thinking who the hell does his dubs when he laughs like that because it sounds like Rumpelstiltskin! XD XD

How I agree with you, Peter Ho is just splendid I just wish he had more main roles because seeing him do roles like Lu Bu is making me want to pull my hair out! The only good role I've seen him in is Sophie's Revenge and he is so swoon-worthy there! Q__Q

Zhou Yu is the one who met with Sun Ce at his father's grave right? I will have to keep an eye out for him as well then.

I took a peek at your CW and you're almost done with Will it Snow at Christmas! How is it? That and Top Medical Team?

I know~! When they said this was a war-historical drama, they weren't kidding! And they have layers upon layers of politics that come with it. Zhang Fei was a real idiot and Lu Bu O___O. Peter Ho is so good I want to kick his a** OMG!

Right now, I'm observing Liu Bei and just imagine he has a thought bubble every time he does a murderous side-glance. Something like "What the f**kery is this?" with a calm and collected face. LOL The man is just so uhh PATIENT. A long time has already passed and I am waiting for Sun Quan to appear. :D The emperor is already a grown man and Sun Ce sports a mustache now! :D

I was just thinking about this phenomenon the other day. In my case, it usually happens the other way (an actor…
That happens to me! Sometimes I can't get over first impressions. I had that experience with Protect the Boss where I couldn't keep my interest in the story. From then on I had a hard time watching actors from that drama portray other characters in other dramas.

I'll check that out, thanks! :)

This is so good~! I'm not into pretty boys but when they cross over to being manly handsome and transform into a character, they could really make me ask that question. Lee Jun Ki is the perfect example. He was good-looking in My Girl but what really blew my mind away was The King and the Clown. Q___Q I loved him in Arang as well.

I'll be picking up Reply 1994~thank you, I needed a reason to see it~and Shark~my daughter likes LSH ever since she saw him in 2ne1's mv for 'It Hurts', but to me he's a pretty face, nothing more. I've only seen him in What's Up and I couldn't even remember what his role was in it. I'd like to see my opinion of him change!

I have yet to see JJ in a role that I can see his character. Maybe it's just me but his prettiness is too overwhelming for me not to think that he's JJ.

Looking forward to the Gals' Edition. :)
