I think I saw this on Red cable channel. It looked really interesting.
Modern looking...must be his eyebrows? There was one scene there where the older lady was asking him what he was doing to her and that she's his mother and Genji replied that she's not. It got really interesting at that point!

Ganda nyan sis! ^_^
I saw one video where a girl was surrounded by students her age--both girls and boys. They were shouting at her and she just stood her with her head down. Then they started pulling her hair and beat and kick her while she was down. As a parent of two girls, my heart felt like it was about to explode! I sat there gritting my teeth and keeping my hands all clenched up. TT_____TT
It'd be great to have more dramas touching on realism but more so if they'd influence or attempt to change the minds of their viewers. One drama surely isn't enough to push that change but it's enough to make a start!
How can you miss the yellow butterfly floating all around dramaland? It was in The Princess' Man, The Moon Embracing the Sun, Rooftop Prince, Arang and the Magistrate and wherever else! :D
And red scarves also in Ojakgyo Brothers and Dream High.
I like some of the dramas that you've mentioned and if 'horrible' seems inappropriate, disappointing or 'will-make-you-pull-your-hair' might do the trick.
LOL! The telepathic ending. I can imagine the 360-degree rotating camera now! And ~~kekeke~~the dementor ending: throw your computer my way, I'll be more than happy to catch it! :D :D :D
What a timely article! Lee Jun Ki is currently messing with my head and I have just started watching TBDW but…
TPM started out great but for me the ending wasn't as strong as Gaksital. Kang To had his revenge and then some more--it was like 'To be continued'. TPM had me disheartened--true it was a happy ending but it sacrificed the revenge in the end.
I can't say for TBDW--barely started. I'd trade CH up for TPM just because ahjusshi died. TT___TT Omo those feelings~~But then the ending was meh. :\
Hello Ghost sounds like Robert Downey Jr's Heart and Souls. I'll check that one out! Oh wait...I haven't seen anything with Lee Yo Won recently and Wandeugi is a comedy? I'll check them all out! :D
Lee Jun Ki is currently messing with my head and I have just started watching TBDW but am wanting to start Iljimae. And now to have these revenge dramas open and close your Top 10!
Love the macro at the end! :)
PS: Gaksital would have been my top revenge drama.
I know that one thinks of these dramas if it's about revenge but I immendiately thought of Temptation of Wife!…
Temptation of Wife--they really got down and dirty with those schemes.

Yeah, 62 episodes but I was so absorbed I dramathoned it in 8 days! That's probably the only true blue sageuk I've watched so far. The others are mainly fusion and not that long.
I loved Uhm Tae Woong and Kim Nam Gil; they were both so good in their own manner in the drama. They both showed QSD a kind of love that was different from the other. UTW kills it in the earlier up to the middle episodes but from then on up to the end, Kim Nam Gil steals it.
If you're up to it, give it a try. I liked it for a lot of reasons. One of them is how they broke mysticism and superstition in that era with science. Another one is it's a great love story and third, Go Hyun Jung head to head with Lee Yo Won--the best fight for power I've seen so far.
Lol this post got long!

Hot dang! I love your profile! All these pretty pictures! Q__Q I could hang out here all day!
I love Johnny Depp and Patrick Dempsey--two oppas who made it big in the 80s and made their great comebacks in 2000+!
