If not for the other characters occupying a lot of airtime I would give this a 10. the ending was nicely wrapped up, unlike the other xianxias I’ve watched. They use CGI well. There were episodes where the main leads have 5minutes airtime like seriously! totally wasted! but it’s a great drama! I cried a lot. this can be on my top 5

1. Ancient Love Poetry
2. Ten Miles Peach Blossoms
3. Who Rules The World
4. Legend of Fei
5. Ashes of Love

any recos for the next?

I came back here after watching another series and I must say that this is still by far the best xianxia I’ve seen. Just endure the first 9 episodes and you’ll be proud of how they develop the character of FL here. I just love my FL and ML equally strong. This is really underrated series.

I just finished this drama. I am on the other side that didn’t like it probably because I came from watching Ancient Love Poetry which is an epic series for me in terms of fighting scenes with a good use of CGI, its story and how they build up the characters which resulted to a great show of relationship. The way they use the CGI here in LBFAD is a perfect example of “having a great tool but useless if you got no talent in using it” it was way too saturated, the colors are blinding at some point…As for the FL’s character, she is too childish and not at par with the ML, the exact reason I find the relationship bland and not too exciting…this was a 6 for me.

Finally, I found a drama that helped me moved on from Ten Miles Peach Blossoms.
This is worth watching guys! The fight scenes are incredible, kudos to the production and editing team, it was that good! The story made me cry a few times and I am not even a crybaby, it will pinch your heart a bit but it’s all worth it.

Any dramas like this? also without the childish dub on FL? Another reason why I loved this drama was cuz FL's…
try the following:
Eternal Love Ten Miles Peach Blossoms
Legend of Fei
Legend of Fuyao
Who Rules the World

I highly recommend these dramas, they are worth watching…

It’s been a week since I finished off with this drama and I’ve been re-watching my fave episodes from 30-49 and I’m stuck with it. I even went to wattpad and fanfiction to satiate my Ye Hua and Bai Qian addiction! Somebody help me! 😂

For the past two months I’ve been watching cdramas and I have no problem moving on to the next one until Eternal Love…

I started off with the following:

Who Rules The World (hard to move on from this as well, I ship YangLu)
Legend of Fei (I ship Yibo and Liying)
Princess Weiyoung
A Dream of Splendor
Legend of Fuyao
Ten Miles Peach Blossoms

Advice: Throw your reservations against Mark Chao out the window, if it's about his looks I assure you the guy…
are they even serious?! Mark Chao looks so hot and manly! if this is not good-looking to them, there must be something off with their eyes that needs surgery! 😂

I love the story of Ye Hua and Bai Qian, too bad there were so many side stories that are not interesting, I skip most of the time.
