I feel like the head person for the killing vote must be a family member of the professor - it would make sense why they hate the justice system, why they took inspiration from his words and why they were at his trial.
Is there a reason why you dropped Full House and My Dear Lady? I've been wanting to watch both but dont want to…
I'd say you should still start both shows if you really are interested, maybe there are other parts of the show you'd really enjoy that would make it worth watching! Here are the reasons I dropped (minor spoilers)
Full house
I had never watched any version of the full house story before, so I wanted to start with the oldest version possible, which was the korean version. I ended up watching 7 episodes and got to the angst arc where the love square kind of gets messy and I just didn't find it as enjoyable anymore
At that point I decided to switch to a newer adaptation because I thought that maybe it a different environment/cast would make the show more enjoyable for me.
I watched 12 episodes of the thai version which I enjoyed a lot more because the ml was nicer, the storyline was more tolerable and I think the fighting between the two was more cute and less intense. I also really liked the pairing of Aom and Mike! The problem is because I had watched 7 episodes of the korean version right before, I was losing interest in the story and dreading the scenes where the ml was going to be split between the fl and the sfl.
Overall I'd say - watch the korean if you like bickering relationships and heavy relationship angst - watch the thai version if you want a less frustrating version of the above - drop both if you hate men who are torn between women, love triangles, misunderstandings etc
My Dear Lady
I think my expectations of the show ruined the actual show for me because I started watching the drama as it was airing and my expectations were that it was going to be a show that focused on the fl getting her son back and thriving in her career
Instead it just ended up being just like any other office romance, the son is barely mentioned and the fl kind of acted like his maid. The story is also kind of boring if I remember it right. So I think all this combined made me drop it. I remember enjoying the second lead romance though.
Overall I'd say - watch if you like older woman-younger man romance, or enjoy any of the couples chemistry - drop it if you hate mean mls, or were expecting an independent fl striving for her career and child
Don't let this discourage you too much from starting either of those shows though. I drop a lot of shows and sometimes pick them back up and end up enjoying them the second time!
have i lost my mind or did she actually reference the holocaust as an explanation for why she wanted to get prettier ??? why on earth would the writer(s) use a mass genocide in their script for an analogy??
not to say it's the best drama ever or something lol I definitely found other faults with it, I just feel like…
I totally agree, but I also feel like part 2 wouldn't have come across as shocking for the majority of viewers if they had stayed consistent with the theme. I think in part 1, the ksat element was only made important for 1-2 episodes, with the rest of part 1 heavily focusing on teenagers fighting against adults/and surviving. The tonal shift and gap in consistent messaging between part 1 and 2 makes the allegory seem out of place and meaningless. If they wanted to leave it in, I think they should have focused way more on the teenage competition in part 1; cutting out the entire arc where the students fight to go home or having students actually backstab/fight each other to get points
I like the potential hinted-at romance between Chef Jang and webtoon writer Ji wan, but I hate that Tae mi had…
to think that after hearing that she continuously throws up, instead of comforting her or feeling concern/sadness, he instead felt bad for himself because she didn't eat his food??? without even knowing the real reason / confronting her ???
I like the potential hinted-at romance between Chef Jang and webtoon writer Ji wan, but I hate that Tae mi had to be villianized in the process. To have her suspected bulimia be the reason he lost interest/realized his taste in women is bad is so disgusting. Why on earth in 2022 are we still villianizing women who are just trying their best to fit into beauty standards ???
Drama lost steam in the middle. I'm just happy the female lead didn't need rescuing. That was refreshing. But…
i think it was because she saw that, that wire was already cut a little , so she thought this must be the one that deactivates it because if any other wire was the one with the scratch on it she would have already exploded
she did brace for impact though so maybe she was also just praying it was the right one haha
In what way? I don't get that vibe at all. Both the FL and ML here look way different than the ones in sell your…
I think they're refering to the way the that both ML are con men with a more goofy personality , and how both FLs are a lot more cold and composed with actual powers
ngl before the ending of ep4 i was convinced it was the retired ranger who cares for the bears and snakes and stuff , because 1) she knew so much about the potato bomb 2) the method of killing switched after the ml told her he thought people were poisoning drinks 3) she was super defensive when the male lead was asking about where he could find more clues 4) since she works with animals its just more likely she would also have animal scars on her hands!
1) I feel like the big fight about him not telling her should have happened after the PD assistant punched him in the town because it would have made so much more sense with her lines about how hes acting different
2) I hate that Hwa Jeong forgave him so easily. I feel like there should have been some trial period where she makes sure his actions line up with his words!!
3) I hate that Sung hyun only realized his feelings for her after he got rejected by the female lead. :((( it feels like shes a backup somehow
Honestly I never shipped husband and Hwa Jeong because ever since his First love suddenly show up he was just…
Its such a shame because I was so upset about that arc but I was willing to forgive him if he realized it was like a nostalgic crush and he wasen't actually still in love with his first love!!
She really does deserve a lot better because even after all that she was still secretly taking care of him :((((
Is it just me or is anyone else a little upset at the real reason for yeongguks divorce???
I was hoping it was going to be like Hwa Jeong saw him looking at a picture of his first love and falsely believed he wasent in love with her. Then he could be like ur wrong i married u because i loved you.
Not him drunkenly confessing it was a pity marriage!!! now if they get together im going to be mad :(((
