Does anyone know if yang myung (gong myungs character) was the crown prince at the beginning of the show or is yang myung the child who passed out when the demon was awoken?
ok hear me out this theory sounds extremely over-dramatic but what if : chae jun and the american doctor are not twins but they're clones! Heres why I think that
1) The cult church's adoption book named them all with the same last name and theres hundreds of pages with just identification numbers
2) This new doctor chae jun seems to be extremely anxious , and what killer would be anxious after he got away with framing his twin brother for his crimes? he should be celebrating or at least partly relieved rather than having nightmare after nightmare, hallucinations etc
3) The past scene at the church shows chae jun with almost 3 different personalities, a child whos always anxious (hiding in a tree), one with lots of love to give (that patted her on the head) and one who is a little evil (was eavesdropping on the adults) , which kind of shows that there might be more than just 2 of them!
the real question is if ik jun already knew or if he only knew abt his sister and jun wan at the end of the episode
I feel like he knew because for one, he knows everything! haha but also because of the way he told his sister that jun wan was suffering and that his girlfriend was inconsiderate. To me, it felt like he was giving a little hint to her that she should ask him about his feelings and console jun-wan instead of just talking about her success. I feel like that last look at the end wasen't about him being shocked that they were dating, but instead it was ik jun realizing that they must have broken up over her damaged liver! But idk what do you think haha?
ngl I would have appreciated a second season if it was about different couples with different marriage problems, cause the second half of this drama was just us watching 4-5 long, drawn out affairs. The only thing that could pull me back in now would be to see how the wives fight back /how that mysterious bachelor lives
to be honest now that I think about it , the fight between Pi young and her mother would have made more sense if it happened after Pi young's mother tried to tell Pi young that her husband was cheating, because then she could have been like " you already ruined my life once with your suspicions" and it would have made her look like a better character
yup I only see her side of the story like she rants rants rants because her mom did something God forbids in Korean…
It's also weird because she's supposed to be in her late 30s or 40s and her dad died when she was in elementary school but she talks about the incident as if it happened yesterday. I just feel like we need more details/flashbacks for these rants to make sense!
I know people usually hate flashbacks but I feel like Pi young's story would be better if we knew anything about what happened in the past !! Every conversation she has with her mom she just throws out some random detail we never discussed before! i just feel so confused
I like how you broke down the series into sections (story-telling, brutality etc). I think the tone/take home messages from each show is worth mentioning when discussing both of these dramas as well!
One thing I really liked about sweet home was that it really brought to light the inner demons we face. Everyone had a weakness or trauma, but most of them pushed through that to save others. I felt like the show really exemplified the message that the fight against ourselves can be scarier than a fight against even the scariest, largest, monsters.
What I really liked about Alice in borderland was the way it showcased the brutality of survival. The survivor ship guilt, the unpredictable villains, the betrayal and the human mind. The plot twists in Alice almost always had me in shock! I felt like the main message here was that at the end of the day, every human just wants to survive!
lol i've never seen a drama so determined to stop people from shipping two characters. First they force feed us that weird " you like jae woong " scene, and now every 3 mins they talk about being twins haha
also why did they force feed us that weird "you like him" scene with jae woong and jamie if the romance was gonna…
me too!! I thought that Jae woong was being psychologically controlled or something and that Jamie would help him transition back to his more nervous , anxious personality! turns out he was just a serial killer all along though
im really enjoying this drama but why did every woman/girl in this drama become so one-dimensional . Like every scene we see of Jamie now is her confused , or Hye won crying , or the lab woman and police woman being shady. ???
What happened to the character development we saw in the beginning??
i feel bad holding in my laughter for the inevitable "why did you ask the fridge about me?" fight but the concept of a fridge ruining a relationship is hilarious

Let me know what you guys think though
