just finished the 2 episodes. it has a very nostalgic and healing atmosphere. i like the greenery all dipersed in most scenes. the actors seem to have some chemistry. at first i could not really feel it , but they started growing on me at the end of the 1st ep. no angst just pure care and longing for each other, in a realistic slice of life manner. a slow-paced comforting journey so far.
the scene when they first arrived to the palace and mokju went to welcome the king at the gate. the girls were incarcerated. he introduced jiyeong to mokju. i will go check maybe i can find the exact time
ive just finished this drama. nothing really outstanding just the usual romance happy ending type of fluffy candy like drama. the rich guy poor girl trope, office trope (that I keep wondering how unrealistic and funny would it be in real life bcs you will be fired on your il il lol). i enjoyed nevertheless, it is good in its own lane nothing heavy. similar to what's wrong with secretary Kim or business proposal . if you like this check them out~
The tyrant is based on the recorded & distorted history of presence modern world of FL. There's actually a…
I see , ''who win a war will then write the history''. claire you did it you solved it.
so he is not a tyrant after all. he is just an awfully hurt person from the repetitive treasons and the untrust worthy people around him. He decided to keep a facade as a tyrant king to be feared and punish his mother's killers .
i liked that he was flawed though with the whole tyrant thing. that s why to me the actor seemed more psycho than a tyrant lol because he is not. I still thing that the development of their relation is entertaining but the base a bit lacking something or maybe it is the repetitiveness or predictability of such stories.
Maybe he has a soft spot for her? I enjoy the political and cooking scenes but other than that i just casually…
a soft spot would be a plausable explanation in this case. i like to engage with the romance more (not a huge fan of politics lol). still, i find the basis of this relationship not strong enough or at least the shift from strangers to romantically intertwined a bit lacking. on a good note, the romance is developing quickly as they jumped straight to a kiss in ep4. I hope the relationship strengthens over time. i need more on his emotional motives (she reminds him of his mom) maybe through more internal monologue scenes idk lol. because sometimes i am getting psycho vibes rather than tyrant😅. hopefully following episodes will hit better
just finished the 4 episodes. i can see many ppl getting hooked to this, yet for some reason it felt a bit underwhelming to me. I liked the chemistry but it felt a little bit unreasonable for a tyrant to be that forgiving to her rudeness. but I guess it s all fun and giggles. it is entertaining nevertheless. maybe I am still under the influence of twelve letters
CRAZY THEORY but what if the king recognised her the first time they met? it's obvious now that he wrote the mangunrok,…
i think he didn't name the book mangunrok yet when he met her, so he wouldn't know the book she was talking about even when she mentioned the name. I guess he is just amused while speculating she is really from the future as she s making new dishes in ways unheard of in their time 😅
that what i was thinking. and then there are ppl here speculating that he is not hai tang s biological kid . so…
yes, i think we needed more at least two more episodes to witness their happy moment and get answers for our questions. yet shen cheng not vanishing is enough for me to go on with my day not compeletely heartbroken
let s see what we get in the coming ep this weekend^^
