i have just finshed this drama. the acting is peak especially the actress in the first episodes . she did a great job and the actor too. Yet she caught my eye more as i watched WDBTD right before this , so i can compare both performances. The wide spectrum this actress showed in her acting is rather impressive, to say the least .
concerning the story, it is filled with tragedy,misery,unjustice, and melancholy. this drama broke my heart in ways i didnt knew possible. so whether you like a good cry or your are drawn to suffering this is for you.
the cinematography is alluring, and the color grading seems on point to me . Ranging from hot orangish yellowish hues scenes to mute blue ones with that nostalgic atmosphere in the 1991 times.

agree, i loved her voice a lot. esp that i have just watched when destiny brings the demon where there was voice over. i didnt expect her voice to be on the lower end . it gave the character so much richness

this drama is something i didnt know i needed. the sceneries in each episode and the heart touching stories help you slow down a little bit. It really retrieves the sense of romantacized realism. i think with the end of the 9th episode, they are trying to capture the nature of life, as we keep expecting happiness yet we fall short each and every time in this pursuit. this feeling of ''it will never be my turn'' is alluring to me when i see it in dramas because it hits close. her questionning the meaning of success and deciding to define her happiness is elating as i root for her in her own lovely journey that i believe each of us has to take sooner or later. also i really admire that within this rollercoaster of ups and downs yeorum seems to grow as a character not only through her life struggle but mostly through the experiences of the people she is substituting in her travels. it feels like she is vicariously maturing through the people she meets rather direct events happening in her life per se.

omg i didnt see him dying coming for goodness sake... i spoiled myself..
the sml was a bit annoying, i started to question his story when she denied multiple times she was the frost fish at some point idk.
overall, i am having great fun watching this, since i am not familiar with the genre and the usual plots and tropes. so it has been an enjoyable watch so far ^^...i hope they get their happy ending in the modern arc
