Can’t wait for it to be Wednesday. Hahaha. I cannot believe I could have missed this gem. Thank the heavens it has a nice poster or else... it could have been a disaster not being able to witness this series. It’s quite unexpected that my current favorite has not even been in my PTW. Lol.
Jo Dong Hyuk in an even cooler character than his Jung Tae Soo in Bad Guys. I hope this would be a great series and that the main guy would grow on me as the character is kinda annoying for my taste.
Watching this and the previous season almost simultaneous and I have to say that liking this one better so far, but again I am only on my second episode and my opinion can change just as how seeing the second half of the latter series kinda changed my likings for LYZ there.
Just on my 6th episode and the leads are kinda a weird couple. One draws the line while the other doesn’t seem…
Wow! People are so on-point when they said that things turn in the second half. Lol. He is indeed a creepy character. If we are to compare him to the characters in the world of lakorm, then his obsession is like that of a second lead who is about to go insane because of the prospect of unrequited love. Wow! Such an unnecessary plot twist.
Just on my 6th episode and the leads are kinda a weird couple. One draws the line while the other doesn’t seem to care about it at all. I won’t deny the fact that the actors have good chemistry though. I mean, they are quite cute together but seeing other comments make me a bit not excited. Is he gonna be more controlling than how he appears to be in the next few episodes? I mean sure... I’m kinda used to wacko characters watching my fair dose of lakorns, but I’m not sure how I feel watching this trope of obsession in a C-drama yet. Haha.
Also, is it just me or I can’t seem to connect to An Ran and Nan’s character in this? Idk. Maybe it’s the fact that the two actors look young (i know they are actually young but some young actors can pull off roles wherein they have to act an older character) and it’s all so apparent especially when they act together with the leads. They should have chosen actors who don’t look like teenagers wanting everyone’s attention.
Moving on, I’d still give this a try. I mean, we have far more obsessive MLs in the lakorn realm (his edge here, basing on the 6/20, is he’s not a jerk to the FL like if you ain’t a lakorn fan, then you haven’t seen the worst in obsessive, mean ML combined with an aggavating weak FL) so for now, I guess I’ll try to complete this.
Was it just me skipping parts or the scene transitions are hella confusing? Lol. Seriously speaking though, I just finished episode 7 and I have to say the leads are adorable. Can’t believe I’m seeing this cringy side of PHJ in Kang San Hyuk. Toe-curling and goosebump-inducing but he can actually pull it off (but again, still cringe-y tho haha). Hahaha. Going back to our lead couple, it would have been better to focus on them more but nope... they have to put annoying second leads. The male second lead comes off as someone who’s very much insecure towards the male lead. There were moments of unnecessary power struggle. Pro about his character though is his great relationship with his father. Meanwhile, the female second lead is downright annoying. I mean, sure that she’s doing her job but I really feel like her character is so flat. There’s nothing likeable about her charcter. Anyways, I’m still just on the seventh episode. Who knows right? Hopefully, this series can grow on me.
This wasn’t on my PTW but the drama poster is kinda good so I clicked to see the plot summary and gave it a try. Surprisingly liking the pacing for this series so far. Can’t wait to see how more things would unravel. I am ready for all the angst.
Goodbye, My Princess was such a treat and a heartache. Haven’t really picked it up again after stopping at 44 a few months ago (finished the whole series without the subtitles from the moment episodes were released though) but it’s because I’m still preparing my heart so I can watch the whole series with subtitles. Haha. Anyway, Under the Power has been in my PTW for three months now. I guess I opt to start it after finishing my current watch.
14th episode and we finally get to see the oldest and youngest being reunited. I guess Jung Hoon feels really most comfortable with Ravi. I’m hoping they would be teamed up formally though. Haha.
