Can’t really see anyone portraying DHD the way Vengo did him justice. I liked his role as Zhen Bei Ye as well in Fu Yao. I’m hoping to see more lead roles for him. Also, a reunion with Reba, hopefully in a modern setting.

Love her in Suits and I just finished watching My Holo Love. I hope she’ll be offered more and more lead roles after MHL. She is such a good actress.

you are the one being rude here you ignorant piece of shit! just how could you say such things when that issue…
Stumbled on this since I was curious to see a new series Go Sung Hee might be starring. The comment has been deleted but you are right @Gimbap that we shouldn’t be calling anyone guilty until otherwise proven. Such is the reason why the ‘presumption of innocence’ exists. Also can’t help but to think of the situation that recently happened relating the estranged Johnny Depp and Amber Heard (ain’t really a follower of both but it was an issue that trended). People were so quick to judge Depp. Boy, how the tides have turned and man, the badmouthers might have felt sorry (and some might still be in denial just so they can rationalize how they turned to be a bit of jerk) after realizing that they reacted rashly about him only to eat what they said in the end. It turned out the lass was the abuser gaslighting her way while the actual victim is the one being scrutinized.

So yeah, lesson of the story: We should not be judgmental to others. Like, we don’t know a person personally to say hurtful words that we might eat sourly eventually. If the person is making you uncomfortable because of their case involvement, then we all have the choice not to watch the series. No need to be the person acting catty and all, because for all we know... our words might be taking a toll someone’s mental and emotional soundness.

As for me, I kinda don’t like the plot so skipping this one.

Ep. 5 and Chan Sung is effective at playing an annoying character.

Oh you are right that he made that comment because FJ knows XY’s cake preference (i.e. salty licorice cake/egg yolk cake). But it did happen during a banquet FJ hosted herself to thank DH since he helped her so her name would be on the list of competitors qualified for the Saha competition.

Oh, I see! So they did change it. I’m guessing they won’t be inserting the jealous DH during a banquet then, considering how fast the pacing is in the Fanyin Valley. Unfortunate as I was looking forward to seeing Vengo uttering “You’re actually familiar with what he likes.”

Halfway done and can I just say how cheeky and lovable Donghua Dijun is on his original king-of-immortal-world…
The lad knows our lass avoids him and like the “shameless”guy (wording by FJ) that he is, still tries to make her more uncomfortable. I love him in more ways than how he is as the mortal emperor. Hahahaha.

Halfway done and can I just say how cheeky and lovable Donghua Dijun is on his original king-of-immortal-world self? He is so mischievous. Haha. Vengo did great with his subtle grins and smirks, as well as the change in the glint of his eyes, whenever he pranks someone, especially Feng Jiu.

I just saw the latest previews. Is my memory just serving me off or did Yan Chi Wu not really participate in the Sahara competition if we are to base on the events that transpired in the book?

Pop is so adorable....he has the best smile...Tiki lost his charm
I agree! I loved him with Aff in Wanida. I mean he still looks good despite his age but his screen presence is like not that amazing, at least not for this series basing on the trailer alone (now I might still be proven wrong and I hope I’ll be proven wrong).

I just realized that this is the second time Pop and Kimmy are working together. The other one was when he was her creepy uncle (hence, i didn’t feel the chemistry) but here after watching the trailer with no subtitles, I thought they were lovers separated because of Tik’s character. I mean the chemistry is a hundred.

It’s a bummer to discover that they are playing the roles of siblings after watching the trailer with subtitle. Haha.
On Dung Duang Haruetai Feb 8, 2020
Saw the trailer the other day and it was kinda meh for me. Tik and Kim’s chemistry is not there. I would have actually preferred it if the main lead was Pop or something. Still gonna give this a try for Kimmy though. Not connected but their OST is beautiful for this so I guess that’s a good point too.

-Big spoiler ahead- He dies in the later episode, but turns into an immortal because FJ stole the saha fruit.…
True and his death would serve as a catalyst for Feng Jiu’s character maturity in the book (and prolly in the series as well).

I also most especially loved the scene with the North Korean ahjummas. My eyes brimmed with tears when I saw how loyal they are to the Senior Colonel’s wife despite knowing that they can be put in danger if they are to be involved with the family. For reals, sincerity for others being showcased would always be heartwarming.

I loved the reunion of the boys with Captain Ri and Se Ri. Damn! That moment of seeing them breaking down because of their hardships finding the leads. Legit, I felt their hope crumbling down only to be more touched when Jeong Hyuk handed Eun Dong his shoes.
