It is available in my country, but I can't find the subbed episodes anywhere... Do you know where to watch them?
i don't think it is yet.. a) kbs world is usually a few weeks behind with what they upload on youtube and b) if they were up, all the pirating sites would have taken them by now
Those complaining about the subs have no idea how tiring and time-consuming they are... and if it's a volunteering…
Yeah volunteering is time consuming and that's respectable, but Viki as a business is still asking people to pay membership fees to watch their stuff. Their plus membership costs more than Disney+ and even their standard membership (basically just no adds, still no access to "plus" dramas) is only like a dollar cheaper. They should be better organized to make their service worth the money. Like have backup subbers on hand or something to assist the smaller teams of anticipated/mainstream dramas so at least things come out on time. It's poor business.
Viki is still a business asking people to pay a membership to watch their stuff, and with their "plus" shows you have to pay to watch them as they air, they should be better organized so their service is worth the money.
i find a drama I WANT to watch and its not being subbedONLY WHEN IM A SLUMP
dude, same, i've been waiting for this drama for a year and it kept getting delayed, now it's finally airing and this whole fiasco with the subbing is killing my enjoyment before i even get to watch the first episode
Ive noticed newer dramas licensed by Viki internationally are taking forever to be subbed it had the highest rating…
exactly, you would think that, as a business trying to make money, they would put more focus on it since it's a park hae jin drama, a kbs drama, highly anticipated, at the top of its time slot, and they want people to pay for memberships, but nah i guess since it's a standard drama and not a plus they don't care as much??
it's so frustrating, this was such a highly anticipated drama you'd think they'd make sure to have more people…
i mean it's viki, they usually take a bit longer, but this is ridiculous. you'd think they'd make sure to get shit out in a timely manner when they expect people to pay.
it's so frustrating, this was such a highly anticipated drama you'd think they'd make sure to have more people on it to get the subs out quick.. another episode aired today so that makes 4
Started watching the first 2 ep, they’re really good so far! Also do you mind sparring your thoughts on which…
did you watch it raw? my korean skills aren't that good, it sucks that it's taking so long to get translated :/
apologies ahead of time if you liked any of these dramas, these are my personal opinions:
I was SUPER looking forward to Arthdal Chronicles because (on top of loving Song Joong Ki and Kim Ji Won) I am a huge fan of fantasy and I was so excited to see Korea trying a high fantasy drama and there was all this hype during the filming about netflix getting the rights and it having a big budget. I really wanted it to succeed so Korea would do more, but it ended up just pissing me off more and more each episode. The writing, I felt, was messy and frankly plain bad. Even I could have written it better. I gave it a 7 and I feel like that was generous. This drama actually made me come on here and write my first review in like three years lmao
My next (and probably most anticipated of the whole year) was Vagabond. I loved Gu Family Book so I was thrilled to see Lee Seung Gi and Suzy get cast together in another drama, especially since Suzy's acting has gotten better over the years, not to mention action romances are my shit, but again: messy writing, stupid netflix ending. And to make matters worst, it started out great. Like Arthdal, while intriguing, had problems from the beginning because they tried to cram a 50-episode story arc into 18 episodes. Vagabond started to go up then came crashing down quick.
My third was Melting Me Softly (again because of casting, I'm a big fan of Ji Chang Wook). This was more: I had super high expectations despite not being a fan of sci-fi because the cast was great, then a few days before the drama started airing I looked at who was writing it and then my expectations fell to the floor, and to my disappoint the drama met those really low expectations. I knew it wouldn't get better, but every episode I just kept hoping it would, and kept getting slammed with repeated disappointment. Again with the poor writing. (
lol sorry for the essay, I get really passionate about wasted potential, it's one of my biggest pet peeves, I could rant about these dramas for hours
Oh. This isn't hospital drama. It's rescue!(Almost missed out on this.)
i think that's why i'm so excited for this! i love the american show 9-1-1 and while this isn't fire-fighters, it's still a rescue concept which I haven't yet watched a kdrama where that was the main plot. hopefully it lives up to the hype.
i have been waiting so long for this that i am ridiculously excited but also horrified because ALL of my top anticipated 2019 dramas turned out to be shit and i would love for that to not repeat in 2020
i'm ridiculously excited for this and also horrified because all and i mean ALL of my top anticipated 2019 dramas turned out to be disappointing, i just want this to be good please be good omg
stove league and crash landing on you are both taking the weekend off because of the lunar new year, but i didn't see anything about beautiful love wonderful life? should we assume it's also cancelled?
and frankly my personal advise is to skip it because the end really isn't worth it
