you're still implying that asian comic book storylines are sub-par because they are comic books, which is not true in the slightest. there are plenty of dramas where the stories are bad but are a big hit thanks to the lead actors. i don't know where you got the idea that park bo young isn't popular internationally, she's always been huge - especially because of werewolf boy and (on the more recent side) oh my ghost. the show had good ratings in korea for the same reason it was popular internationally: korea loves park bo young, and the chemistry/romance between the two leads was great. also, i don't know where you got "only very few dramas do well in korea as well as internationally". yeah there are definitely dramas that do better internationally than domestically, but most often the dramas doing well domestically do well internationally. the only ones ive seen that didn't do as well internationally (or at least in the MDL community) were dramas that lack a romantic plotline. And even then, those who do watch the dramas agree that they are great. TLDR; 1) I never said anything about Goblin, I love that drama 2) I've also never seen anyone praise the genius plot of swdbs. why? because the writing was weak

just because it's a comic book style doesn't mean the story has to be bad. haven't you watched the marvel movies?

right, like i enjoyed the cuteness strong woman but objectively the writing and some of the acting was subpar. same with weightlifting fairy...

what i hope for the last four episodes: they next two are the leads making up and we get cute couply moments, then the last two are spent resolving the final conflict with the company.
please, writers, give us some payment for suffering through all the angst!!

as a pride and prejudice enthusiast, i completely disagree with all of this with the exception of kim ji won. especially ji soo and lee sung kyung, neither of them have the acting skills to match their popularity. there, i said it. ji soo stans fight me.

since this is tvn and the drama has such goblin vibes, i'm fully expecting/hoping this couple also gets a nice make out scene lol

seriously, waiting for him to get discharged from the army was absolute torture

yeah its to bright and colorful to have a sad ending

same! i feel like there was something different about him, he was absolutely glowing!!

yo i was so hesitant when this was announced because i did NOT want to watch a drama with the main actor spending the entire time as a monkey, but THIS LOOKS LIT

ikr she just keeps getting paired with costars that can't act and they drag her down, she was great in six flying dragons
