It's a play of words.Main female character's name is Oh Joo In.Landlord in Korean is "주인", which in romanisation…
the pun is the joke tho, yeah technically it means landlord but she's having him call her "jooin-nim" because it also means "master"
if she was really just asking to be called "landlord", he wouldn't have been so surprised by the request. he said he felt like he was signing a slave contract when they first made the agreement.

he does call her master, "jooin" essentially means ownership of something - they're the same word, the context just slightly changes the definition + the way it gets translated
can someone clarify something for me? the fancy lady who organized the fire, have we met her character yet or is she new? there's so many i can't keep track lol
Hey does anybody know of other dramas with a romance dynamic like Hao Du and Li Le Yan where the enemy henchman/guard/whatever is soft for the sheltered princess? Any country is okay. I recently started the drama and Le Yan just got separated from everyone and I know there's like sixteen episodes to go until she's reunited so I gotta hold myself over lol
forgetting everything else that was this whole last episode, how the HELL was she there? how did he remember her? by stopping the war, he essentially erased all of the uploaders from the future from the existence of the presence and therefore the memories of them should have also been erased???? and don't get me started on the whole coding thing??????????????? what the actual frick?
i see a lot of (valid) criticism about the ending, but is nobody else concerned about jun being a minor? there's always uproar when the female lead is younger than the male lead, even when she's an adult, but jun is literally still in high school..
