This was mildly interesting. I hated Inno but glad he and Kyle got away. The dancing was cringey. This isn't really…
In my interpretation it was his actual dad since that just fits best with the movie's overall theme of showing the dysfunctional relationship between father and son. It demonstrates that Inno's family situation may not have been that unusual (even though Kyle and Inno are part of different social classes), and that all characters were just different shades of fucked up regardless of their financial status. Not gonna lie, tho, I was this close to yeeting my laptop right across my room with that plot development. I really didn't see it coming!
I am fucking DEAD. Someone commented on one of Jaeyoung's photos: "cool exhibition youâre still not graduating…
The very first pic on his feed (or his last post, depending how you look at it, lol). Someone commented it under the short animated clip that is also shown in the series's first episode when Jaeyoung and Sangwoo meet at the exhibition.
Yooo they really did a good job staying true to the manwha with this one! Even with the slight changes they still managed to capture the overall feeling of the original story. And, omg, that LIP PIERCING Jae Young was wearing during the very first scene had me dead. Wish they had added that to his normal look, it suits his character so well.
Teenage angst to the max. A raw and poignant display of a young adult grappling with his desire to fit in while, at the same time, trying to deal with his romantic feelings for his classmate. Life isn't all sunshine and roses, and this short film basks in that reality.
I need bl shows to start being realistic when it comes to men having sex with each other spontaneously like that…
Totally agree with what you said! In reality there are, of course, a lot more things to be taken into consideration, many of which are never really depicted in BL shows (but the same can be said about all mainstream media, to be honest). That being said, the episode is not actually that explicit and we don't actually see what has happened. I think we also need to get away from the (heteronormative) idea that sex always and only equals penetration. Depending on your definition, sex can can involve a wide array of things (and without going into detail here, there are various creative variations to create some friction, lol). For all we know the both of them just jerked each other off (especially since we have only seen the both of them with women before, so we don't even know how how experienced they are).
Hmm...it seems that everyone likes this movie a LOT more than I did. It was OK, but as a comedy, it felt to me…
Wow, shocked to read this amidst a sea of praise! Unfortunately I wholeheartedly agree: this wasn't all that funny to me. It wasn't necessarily bad production/script wise but I guess the humour was just not my cup of tea. It all felt a bit too silly and obtuse, and I couldn't really find myself enjoying the forced heartwarming family dynamics either (e.g. the pregnancy and the romance plot line). I hate to say it, since this is clearly a unpopular opinion, but I got kinda bored and ended up watching the entire thing on 3x speed to get through it.
White infiltrating the gang trying to find out who hurt his twin but got a boyfriend instead⊠mission failed…
Tbh, he has done a pretty shit job at trying to find the true culprit anyway đ The dude has literally only searched Gram's room a bit and tailed him once. Other than that, we've only seen him being concerned with the missions and his homework, lol.
I swear, by the time this show has finished airing I will be able to say I've basically watched this 5 times already. This is literally the only series ever where I've gone back to watch previous episodes while waiting for the next week to roll around.
Shouldn't this series be separated into seasons like other multi-season shows on here, and also for simplicity?
I think they're working on that already! I submitted some changes but the staff recommended me to wait since they're planning on adding the different seasons. One hell of a job, tho, with 30+ seasons or so đ
The subtitle ("no matter how difficult, life must go on") pretty much encapsulates the entire plot of this movie. It had its occasional good moments (e.g. when it comments on identity, belonging, and desire with that kimchi scene) but most of its storyline is just an accumulation of various forms of abuse packaged in indecipherable symbolism. Not sure what the director wanted us to take away from this movie except for 'life is shit, deal with it'.
"cool exhibition youâre still not graduating tho"
LMAOOOO

I think we might need to book a group sesh for all of them!
