Can't believe Yo Han's disappearance is left unresolved. "Yeah my probe (and lover) got kidnapped and may or may…
Okay, I ended missing out on the post credit scene so I had to go back and rewatch, and I suppose that ending did indeed excuse the lack of information we got about Yo Han a bit. But still, I just can't get over the fact that my dude Yeon Woo seems more concerned with his friendship than with his kidnapped 'soulmate' lol. I don't think he even mentioned him in that last scene, he got over that romance real quick, huh 😂
Better production and better acting, but nowhere near as interesting as the first season due to the lack of romance…
Can't believe Yo Han's disappearance is left unresolved. "Yeah my probe (and lover) got kidnapped and may or may not be dead but, whatever, I'll just go have a good lunch with my friend now." Bruh.
Better production and better acting, but nowhere near as interesting as the first season due to the lack of romance and chemistry. I was pretty much bored out of my mind and ended up watching everything on 2x speed.
Maybe this is an unpopular opinion but....There's no consistency in the drama😕. Moreover it doesn't keep me…
I wholeheartedly agree with the no consistency comment! The overarching mood of the show changes every single episode, as if the writers didn't really know whether they wanted this to be a light-hearted action series or a mysterious investigation drama. Now it attempts to do both but it fails to commit to one overarching aesthetic. But, then, I also kinda understand why this started off quite silly and showy; that will reel in the big audience, after all. It is also by no means a bad show-- I am still enjoying myself and the pacing is excellent-- but it would be a bit of a reach to say this has no flaws whatsoever.
So in my timezone Kei x Yaku airs every thursday at 3pm.In Japan Kei x Yaki airs every Thursday at 12am (11:59).…
Where do you watch it? Because I tried both the NTV and YTV official websites but I could only find the trailers there when I tried watching it last week... Nowhere to check what the channels are currently airing, as far as I can see. :(
Both Japanese and Korean are amazing. I suggest watching both cause they do have differences with one another:…
Wow, it surprises me that there are such major differences between the Korean and the Japanese adaptions, to be honest! I thought the Korean one would definitely stay true to its source material since it's such a popular story. Maybe I'll end up watching those two after all. Thanks for the feedback, it really helped! :)

LOL, they REALLY wanted the guy to join, huh. Thanks for the article, fun read! Still think the possibility of scripting or manipulation (besides editing) is not entirely out of the question, tho. Reality show producers just love to provoke.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Hyun Seung was just reeled in by the producers to add another dimension to the Ji-Ah-worship cult, lol. His interaction with her was just so clinical and without any spark of chemistry that it is most likely scripted.
I am only halfway in but I pretty much dislike everyone except for So Yeon, lol.
Well, now that I've finished the entire thing I can say with confidence that the cast was both toxic and cringy AF. At least some participants managed to show some redeeming qualities in the last few episodes but, good grief, most of them really don't know (or want to) take a hint. The only good thing about this show are the commentary videos and trash edits on YouTube, lol!
This is probably the most candid and sincere account of the lives of real people during the Filipino war on drugs that is out there (it quite explicitly references actual historical events) but, for someone who expected a (fictitious) high-tension thriller, this was an obvious disappointment. The movie is filmed almost documentary-style and, from what I've seen during the first hour (before I dropped it), it doesn't really have an overarching plot. It shows the real life implications of corruption, poverty, and drug abuse, but it doesn't pretend to package everything in a coherent story (in that sense it is of course extremely realistic). It's a culturally relevant movie, and I may still give this another try in the future when I feel up for watching something more true to reality.
Wait if black has his own dorm, why is he staying in sean's room?
If I remember correctly, Gumpa wanted him to stay in the garage so he could train him (since he saw Black's fighting skill had basically gone down the drain during that one sparring session with Sean-- but I would also not be entirely surprised if he knows about White's true identity).
