Who's Mukai kun end up with? I don"t mind a spoiler. You can tag it as spoiler. Thanks
Yeah, but it's also not correct to say that Sakaido said she only wanted to be friends because she never said that ;-) I also loved the dorama, for the me the best thing were the dialogues, and I think it's very nice that this dorama causes this kind of analysis of the different scenes and brings different interpretation depending on who watches it, like the saying, it's in the eye of the beholder. ^^

She didn't say she wanted to stay friends explicitly, first she said she was very confused, and then in the second scene after they meet up again she said that she couldn't say anything clear, but she didn't like thinking that she couldn't meet Mukai-kun again like they do and that this is why she was there waiting for him in the restaurant, and that she enjoyed the time she spends with him, and that she can be herself when she's with him. So in reality the ending is open, but it's positive and pointing toward a future development in their relationship since she chose to remain together, different to what she decided with Kanda which was to not see him again. I think it was also realistic, when someone you think is your friend confesses to you, it's a shock, and it takes time to sink in, but if you feel you can't be apart from this person, then you most likely feel the same and just hadn't realized. I didn't want to give that much spoiler xD so I summarized things in my previous response :p
Episode 9 ending is what you're looking for.Well you can already see how it's going at the beginning of the episode…
That confession at the end was brilliant, so realistic, I loved her response too. Their chemistry is so good, this is what real love looks like to me, strong communication, feeling at ease with the other person and being able to be your real self in front of the other person. This was one of the best development I've seen, since at the beginning I had no idea what to expect.
This dorama is my favorite this season, it's SO good, the dialogues are amazing, everything presented here is so real, I can relate so much to all the stories that I'm shocked xD
I like it a lot so far, I don't care if they're siblings or whatever, it's just a forbidden love story, the acting and chemistry is so good, that we can feel the pain just when they look at each other xD so it's very interesting so far.
Thank you so much, this is super exciting so far, I loved how Kizaki broke Manase in the interrogation, and it made feel a bit sorry for him now that they will target his life and in the end he’s not the mastermind, just the pawn who execute it the plan.
