Yeah, I think he definitely shines more in those darker roles, he has the skill and as you mentioned, he enjoys it to some extend, but he does need the support of the staff and the people around him to be able to survive the process hahaha (I'm glad to know I'm not the only one reading his interviews xD), I didn't know that scene in ep 11 was shot several times! :-O no wonder he seemed as if he had been crying for hours, I must say the scene was pure perfection, every moment of it omg.. I had to rewatch it several times because I was so delighted!
In the bluray promo Rihito and Yuto mentioned there will be special interviews in that bluray, now I'm super curious, I'd love to know more of the insights during the filming process :) maybe I'll have to get it cause I can't resist :') hahaha I'd also like to send him all the hugs and flowers in the world, support him as fans is the least we can do for all the beautiful moments he has gifted to us <3

Hahaha I felt bad for the poor ghost, she seemed to have something important to say XD I need a 2nd season to see what the ghost wanted lmao and I want to know more about the time leaper who arrived late to the party xD that scene with the tapes and spiderman move was awesome, and also the escape from the owner's office running toward the moon like ET, I think it's very clear now that Bakarhythm likes ET very much because it was like a tribute to the famous scene :)

Hahah I absolutely love your description of Colorful Love, that made my day xD exactly the same addictive and sedative effects it had on me LOL and you are absolutely right about the contrast with the character he played in CL and the character he portrayed here in Himitsu, they are the complete opposite and yet he did it so perfectly, because CL character was also SO him, he completely owned that character, I even remember in some interviews at that time Rihito said that he felt Meguru (CL protagonist) represented about 80% of himself and he could relate with the character very much, and now in Himitsu, in one of the Twitter shorts on the official account, Rihito said that portraying Maki was exhausting mentally and physically and that sometimes when he went back home, he would feel sad, so that means he was really absorbed into the character, he was feeling Maki's frustrations xD, I'm so proud to know that he has this ability to go beyond and own characters in that manner, he is really like our new family member and we enjoy seeing his growth XDDD

Yeah, exactly my same thoughts, I didn't think it was going to be THIS good, and I had no previous exposure to this story (I didn't know about the manga etc.) so it was totally a new story to me, and wow I was blown away, and don't even get me started on Colorful Love, it remains in my heart, it was SO precious, Rihito is really amazing and seeing his growth like this is so delightful, Himitsu is a W-lead as you say, but this time we are in prime time :') he goes step by step, so proud of our Rihito, I'm really rooting for him and can't wait for his next work either dorama or movie, I'll watch it for sure ^_^ !

Wow, what an amazing final episode... I'm still in shock of all the emotions I went through, the scene between Maki and Takimoto/Kainuma was simply perfection, how Maki told him he was still his subordinate broke my heart, and the snapshot into his life, and then I also loved Yukiko being honest about her feelings and what she felt for Maki, Okabe moments and his speech to the chief about what Maki meant to the ninth.. and the Maki x Aoki moments, it was all perfection, and their acting, Rihito's acting oh god.. I'm so amazed, I have no words, this dorama goes into my top 10 of all time.

I enjoyed this more than I should XD I love crazy psycho killer women going crazy haha it was super entertaining and exciting ^^ and it had some good twists I didn't expect, specially the things that happened around Makoto, and the fact that the crazy woman had some trauma as well, I think it was very decent, for 20 min runtime they did a great job.

Yes!!! that scene with the double slap and Okabe saying that the kids hit harder LMAO, that was so SO cute I just can't... haha I would absolutely pay to see that as well, please give us a Maki & Okabe spin-off series where Maki gets in trouble and Okabe is there to save the day xD, they are so perfect, because Okabe really supports Maki, it's a very nice relationship of trust compared to the chaotic situation he has going on with Aoki xD the Maki and Okabe moments are there to soothe our hearts after all the terrible things that happen in this story lol.

I love that moment in the funeral too <3 and in the previous episode where Okabe protected Maki from the bomb and he grabbed him from his waist xD haha I really enjoy those little moments so much!

I absolutely love Okabe and Maki scene in ep 10, I wish there was more interactions like this between them, it's so cute T_T

The ending was so emotional, the words at the end, I cried like a baby, I really love dogs, what a beautiful dorama full of likeable characters, great chemistry, great acting and so many beautiful moments, I need season 2 !!!!

Great finale, very touching, I really enjoyed this series a lot, one of the best for me in this season.

Nooooooo Inugashira, what deal did you make with that man?! T_T that goodbye scene with Emiko-kun, my heart can't.... :'(

Hello, as you can see, I've been following Rihito all these years as well, and I'm so happy and proud to see how much he has grown to the point of getting a lead role in a golden prime time slot :') I hope this is the first of many more to come, maybe I can sub one of his upcoming dorama again in the future in case no one else does, but he has a solid fanbase now I think, so more chances of his works being picked up ^^

So it looks like ep 10 is not the end.. :)

I agree, Uchida Rio is simply amazing in this role, I wish for another season ^^

Homura T_T he's team Hiiragi til the end, I love the guy already haha, ep 7 was so angsty, my heart was tightened all the way through this episode T_T Tsuchiya's words in the end of what was his real intention by taking over that interrogation, ahhhhh my heart! and Haru's acting so perfect, her eyes show so much expression, like she is trying to hide her feelings, but you can see it in her eyes, it's amazing, what a pleasure to watch
