Another things that isn’t talked about enough is the cinematography, people are so worried about other things they don’t notice how gorgeous this show is for a modern cdrama. There are a handful of modern cdramas that are this gorgeous.

I feel like Chinese dramas do this alot to teenagers and girls spoilt by their parents. The same thing in hidden love and AASSOL, there’s just this cuteness. Plus Esther is cute irl, and they probably wanted it to be very cute so you notice a difference dying the time skip.
