I can’t remember the full name too but I will be sat, I usually watch historical dramas and from the previews I think it’s going to be popular. Everyone loves an underdog story and here is a sick crown prince with a calculating mind. Plus it’s his 3rd drama with Meng Ziyu so chemistry will be good!

lol yeah! I watched him in a supporting role before this, before I looked him up during this show I had no idea he was so cool, like he has that bad boy vibe that not alot of actors have 🙂↕️
Full disclosure: Yu Shuxin is not my cup of tea usually, because I can't stand the baby act she often does, but…
Same, I didn't know about this drama till the drama about it not airing on the day it was meant to air, I pick and choose what i watch with Esther, nothing against her. People shouldn't let some prejudice come between them and a great show.
This show gives the feeling of you just had to be there, and it's going to be so nostalgic looking back at this time where we were all crazy for Mumu and Zhao Zhao
Ya'll need to understand that Jin Zhao isn't running away for her sake or out of noble idiocy. It's because he…
He’s going through so much and might not even love himself at this point how will he love her and give her what she deserves? He promised that he won’t let her taste bitter things and that’s what he’s doing. At least he even gave her a last goodbye
I actually thought the opposite haha — the first half was exciting but the second half explores the characters…
I think we can appreciate we got alot of that, 20 episodes, now we move on to a more stable period in their lives. I miss it too! Personally my problem is the cinematography it looked so cool in thailand and how they created a mood even in shaby places. but here it's so bright and not as vibe-y anymore 😭 I still love the show tho
Okay, not to be a man defender, but it seems like a lot of people do not sympathize with Zhao Zhao and all the selfless things he has done (IMO). This is one of the rare instances where the "I'm doing this for your own good" plot makes sense. No one even appreciates that he could've ghosted her entirely, but stood up on his two legs that are barely working to say a proper goodbye despite being in so much pain. Aside from being physically in pain, the accident took a toll on him mentally, so many bad things keep happening to him, so he feels dejected and sort of insecure tbh. Some people who have accidents like these might not want to live anymore, and Zhao Zhao even has a good reason since he doesn't have a family, any job or a solid place to stay. He's probably depressed, but no one cares 😭
Reasons why this makes sense; I know this is a drama, but people are overlooking what it takes to be a caregiver. And Mumu is just 20 years old, if he says she should stay, she will in a heartbeat beat, but she has to provide for him financially and also care for him all the time, shower him, take him to the toilet, move him around, etc (He doesn't know if he can ever walk again). This means probably no university for Mumu, her life will be at a halt, even if she goes, it's hard to juggle it, and her bf is forever disabled. If she stays with him, she might regret it ngl. Now imagine him watching that, even if she's willing, she has to wake up every day and take care of him, and he has to watch that, someone who would give her the world watching her give up her life for him. That would deepen his insecurity and break the relationship. They might even end up in a worse place than before.
Secondly, Brandy has no job; he cannot race or box or fix cars, he sold his garage so where do they stay and who gives them money? He will never allow her to be in that sort of situation so he had to make the executive decision for both of them. He should've contacted her once he started to get better, but that also has its issues (To him), what if she moves on? Then he comes in and disrupts her life? etc, these are the thoughts that go through his mind.
He has always treated her the best he can; he cannot bear to halt her life for his reasons; he also isn't someone who knows how to rely on people because of his past. He was never mean or aggressive to her after the accident, which can happen when something takes a toll on you mentally. He loved and respected her enough to see her for the last time in his best form. A lot of things are not black and white in the world, and communication cannot fix everything; some things are bigger than that and put huge strains on relationships.
I mean, you can say "I wish the accident had never happened," that's a valid point but saying "Why did he break up with her/Hurt her" I think those things would have to exist in a situation like this.
Leaving drama magic aside, logicall it makes sense.
Do the actors ever read a script and say "WTF is this?" because if I were in He Yu's place, I would've…
wdym 😭. That's a valid reason. he doesn't know if he's ever going to walk again, that means she has to be his caregiver and provider financially, and miss out on so many things in her life, from a man who gives her princess treatment that's a big no. Being a caregiver can be exhausting for a 20 year old, having to move him around, clean him when he uses the bathroom, shower him etc. And she also needs to find a job because he can't earn money by racing, fixing cars etc. Is that the type of life he wants for her? she will not leave him so he has to end things on her behalf. This is the only time it makes sense.
With this level of acting, I was wondering why in the world didn't He yu appear before as a main ratger acting…
I said the same thing! He looks freaking miserable and sad in those episodes, the time I saw him on the balcony I gasped because it wasn’t looking good for him. Him and his team did really well, even after the time skip you can tel he’s a sick person
