Not sure if anyone has watched Ruyi Royal Love in the palace, but one of the concubines had a stretch marks from being pregnant and the King got scared and never touched her after, so i get why they didn't want the scar. Also fun fact, The prince in this show plays the son she was pregnant with in that other show
