I found out who it was, thanks! i thought i would have to wait till s2 but they mentioned it in ep 20 something. He's definitely the emperor, so many people have called him that so far

I think you should watch it, he's not in love with them or anything and all of them seem to have an agenda going on, he probably married them for power or some exchange. But him, the main wife and the concubines (except one but i suspect she's not okay too) are all insane. You'll understand when you watch that the concubines are the least of your worries 😌
