Just my two cents on Prisoner of Beauty—I think the male lead's hatred is actually quite justified. He endured…
Same, i don't think he's too hateful or doing too much, we see the big picture but he deosn't, has gone through unimaginable suffering right in front of him and still suffers trauma from it, he's come so far and can't let his guard down for a girl to just sweep it from him, for all he knows she could be conspiring with her clan to do something again
The first episode was so so good! i hope it continues this way! i was only impressed by a handful of dramas last year and since this was made in 2023 I expect it to be really good which it seems to be. The plot and everyone's motives are delivered well in the first episode instead of having to wait episodes to find out what is really going on. Costumes and colouring is soo good, reminding me of lost you forever.
Is this filmed in 2023? The date they always mention is 2023, so this was 2 years in the making.
Yes it was filmed a while ago ready to be aired by there was a strike (i'm not too sure) in Korea that had to do with the medical field so it was postponed

The patients we have met and their families stories are so touching as well, reminds me of hospital playlist where we go with the patients from the consulting room and throughout their journey in the hospital.

Seo Jeong Min's scene was also touching, even though she has year of experience there are still things she's doing for the first time which can be scary as well. Doing things for the first time is always scary and thats why i also love the song "Amateur" by 99z it captures those feelings and reminds us that it's okay because this is the first time.

The scene with Kim Sabi and the young mums father was so intresting to me, Kim Sabi is one of the characters that piqued my interest, she learnt that she needed to be empathetic so she memorized all the right words, but that wasn't what the father needed to hear at the time, human emotions/situations are much more complex and memorizing words can't help, i'm excited to see where her development goes
Just caught up and I'm surprised to see not a lot of people talking about the dynamics and situations we had in these episodes, but the romance lol. EP 3 and 4 were 10x better than the first 2, and if we keep this pace, this will be such a good. teared up twice, being new to something is so scary and awkward, and the residents capture that so well.
