To me as a Londoner, Daoming Si singing "london bridge is falling down" on a g*ddamn Tower bridge was cringe af. Generally the show went downhill from the whole London fiasco.
Also them hanging around one minute in china town, the next one south bank, then hms belfast is the most unreasonable London sightseeing schedule and travel insanity i've seen since Thor getting bakerloo line to Greenwich in Thor Dark World
As a connoisseur of poor quality (think cardboard stones, well visible wig line) xianxia shows, and as a huge fan of BL dramas, this thing was basically made for me.
I enjoyed it a lot, it had a drama, suspense, actually DECENT plot, explicit love confessions, decent music, not bad costumes, and workable acting.
Don't expect a revolution, it's a fun little thing to binge in two-three evenings and then you move on. But it's a milestone to those who curse any censor of Chinese dramas.
Kudos to the Thai creators and Chinese co-creators, I hope they got their money back, considering how niche the genre is.
This drama is boring and disappointing. Gemini and Fourth have almost no chemistry, compared to Moonlight Chicken. 2nd cp is not very good. Music is forgettable. There are plot holes. Compared to the original Kieta Hatsukoi this is bland and pointless.
I know they're all wearing wigs, but FL's split ends are hard to look at.
Also, the drama was quite good (if you like the genre), despite what most of the comments say. The last 3 eps were a bit of a drag, but overall not to many skips for me.

The problem is that it's difficult to understand if you even have no idea that chengyu exist in a Chinese language.
And it's super disappointing to those who enjoyed Marry My Dead Body? like I was hoping he'd at least call/visit the grandma.
