my favorite dramas are the ones depicting strong women. and HaeJ is not strong at all. she is an immature and frightened little girl. and all her bad behaviors and errors come from that: she is afraid of being rejected, she is afraid of being criticize, and that's why she lies and manipulates so much the people around her. just saying.

while searching for this scene I came up with another one where she lied again and manipulate the truth in order to look better than she is... again. episode 16, 41min05sec. in the scene HJae tells something very meaningful about HaeJ: YOU ONLY COUGH UP THE TRUTH WHEN CONFRONTED. which means, he knows her very well!
the truth is: 1- she was jealous because she was in love with YJae and was afraid he could find an other (better) partner on the TV show. 2- she was offered a spot on the dating show as well. but she didn't want to go because she wanted YJae.
and see by yourself HOW she manipulate HJae and pressure him not to reveal the truth to others.
