kwon jae kyun made a very touching confession in ep4. It took me several years to understand that people are very different concerning love and relationships. some people love easily and are warmhearted, but some people have issues connecting to someone else and feeling tied. it's very honest and kind from him to warn lee hong jo.
ep4 I don't like that he didn't come clean about why he needed her to heal him. if he was the one who killed her in a past life, then she should choose to heal him or not about the curse he brought upon him while killing her. he just used her. he is guilty from killing her and then he used her to erase the curse....
I am on ep 4, I feel so bored! blablabla! like the man cheated and yet you are there negotiating? and the CEO talking non sens and nobody listen, and that's ok? everybody is arguing for no reason all the time, I can't take it anymore. is it going to be better?
I didn't like it because I certainly would not play that game if available. really, there was so much other possibilities, and they just chose the worst case scenario every time. the worse region of china, the worse magistrate, the worse remote place (near a flood place and full of refugees), the worse family, the worse characters.... really, you want to play?
at least if we were watching a king's life, I'd understand why there was so much intrigues surrounding the ML. but, they are poor and live in the poorest place ever, and still, every one wants to kill every one. really?
there is no reason to be ashamed of this. as it's said in the drama, you cannot change your feelings, it's not…
I agree with you. although we don't know what actually happened to him during that time. all we know is that his elder brother took a lot of loans and lost everything to gambling and so on, his parents had a lot of problems which he solved and began to earn a lot of money. their relationship (samdal and him) was awkward in the beginning and everybody was clear in thinking she didn't want to see them anymore.... I can understand there was too much to handle for him. at least he now has enough money to be a partner for her. at least he actually made that happen. I don't know if I would have prefered him to be a headless chicken running blindly behind his lover....
there is no reason to be ashamed of this. as it's said in the drama, you cannot change your feelings, it's not…
there was no proper explanation but it was easy to understand that both of them were too busy to take care of their personal life. samdal was too busy being a photograph star, and he was too busy running his family's restaurant. and I think after a while, all the friends just supposed that samdal was going to avoid all of them forever, so no one dared to go to her in seoul.
I was bored and decided to watch king the land ep 4 for no reason. then stumbled on the policeman's scene.... oh dear! I am laughing so much! it was one of my fav!
I’m going to rant a bit… what’s with the guy friend like seriously ?? 😒 You like your friend’s girl.…
there is no reason to be ashamed of this. as it's said in the drama, you cannot change your feelings, it's not like he could do something about them. or like he purposely loved her. and also, this happens a lot in real life too. so I loved the way they handled this. it was gentle and very understanding.
I finally finished. I'll probably give it a 7.5 or 8⭐ because if nothing else, I DID finish (whereas I still…
you asked an interesting question. I don't know the answer as didn't pay as much attention as you did but: what I felt every time these cherry blossoms appeared is: you know this moments when you were disconnected from the reality and suddenly realize that "the world is watching you": the sky is blue, the sun is shining, everything is beautiful outside, and yet, "here I am ruining my own day with some bullshit".... that's what I felt every time. as if the character was reconsidering his/her choices because he/she felt like he/she screwed up... that's my guess. I felt like that in the beginning when ji-won was in hospital and caught a petal.
in a different way, the cherry blossoms appear too in the museum at the end of the drama. for me it was like these moments when you feel happy, or in love, and then realize it's spring and there are flowers every where, as if the whole world was blessing you.
song ha yoon made an amazing performance in soomin's character. she really was stunning. she helped me understand some specific aspects of a narcissist's psychology. the cognitive dissonance was really well staged. bravo! it's the first time I applause the performance of a villain.
There is strong reason for the kind of person becomes but writers toned down it, as they feared that character…
it's very well explained on episode 13. you get to understand very deeply that soomin isn't going to let go jiwon, no matter what. and as long as she doesn't understand that too, and why soomin is so eager to do her harm, she will not be able to take proper measures. so, as I thought, you really need to go to the roots of a problem if you want to solve it.

I am not sure he would have date anyone if she had rejected him.

I am happy to watch shin hye sun, I loved her in "mister queen".

I'll be curious if someone has an explanation.
