in fact the man is just a psychopath. he has no emotion and wants to dominate her at all costs. All she does is bad, she has to ask permission for everything, it’s the definition of at least a narcissist. at least. At most, he’s a psychopath. It’s funny, if you take it lightly. But in real life, I wouldn’t recommend going out with someone like that. It’s a very bad idea in the long run.
I like it even if it's not as seriously made as other dramas. the 15minutes duration means the writer had to handle things differently. I mean nobody should watch this expecting somewhat the same feeling as normal dramas. it is not possible. for a short drama, I think it's a good one.
Well I'm at ep 6 but I'm dropping.Way too cringe. And extremely awkward...The story is fine but you have like…
I love the peasants scenes! most of all the wife of the village's chief. I love when she says all the rubbishes she has in mind! maybe because I know someone like this. it's difficult to explain if you have never experienced it, and yet, the writer did it beautifully!
first 10 minutes and I already love it! I love pigs! they are so clean and smart animals! I am so grateful the drama begins with finally the truth about pigs!
these product placements (pp)! I went through the internet to search about protein coffee.... didn't know what this was. will not use, I don't like coffee. but it's possible with tea too. haha at least they didn't have so much pp: just the coffee, then the little pink brush she use to have "soft hair". did you see something else?
just finished the drama. loved it so much! definitely recommend. I loved she ended it by "this is my perfect marriage". the wink to the tittle was so sugary!
feels like they reduced the 50 episode drama to 12 and this is the best. I really loved how there was not a single…
still watching but agreed. they could have made a 16 ep drama with all that is happening. I also love the pace. I love that in every episode something new come out. I also love the fact that the evil characters are almost cartoonish. it's somehow reassuring. I am like "of course she did!". it's like watching a classic.
I lost interest in King the Land after the second episode. If an employee had done what that girl did, she would…
I agree with you. but.... the MML had personal issues and principles that dictated his behavior.
he didn't fire her because he didn't feel like it was in his power: at this moment of the story he didn't want to meddle with his sister's prerogatives.
his principle was to be respectful with all employee. later in the story he went to an other hotel linked to king the land. one staff member mistook him for a seasonal employee and ordered him around without respect. he worked as he was asked, and when the truth came out, and the employee was afraid to be fired, he answered "it's ok, but never speak to any employee like you did with me again. seasonal or not, you must show respect."
this part of the MML personality is one of these unique things I love in KTL. he is very unique. you can call it not realistic, but for me it is very consistent with the character's personality. everyone has his own specificity. it is also very realistic to tell the story of these few people who do not act like everyone would have in their place. KTL's MML is not the usual chaebol. and that's what I love the most in this show.
sorry for the long answer, but I am always happy to share about my favorites shows.... :-) I gave you a heart for your very relevant remark.
appreciate the comment but hard disagree. I cannot sit through 16 hrs of content w/o anything interesting or compelling…
I understand your feelings. this being said, a lot of things in art have nothing to do with a logical or even an interesting story. a good drama with an atmosphere worth the watch if it makes you dive into an other world. for the time of the drama you forget your life, your world, and enter in another space. king the land does that, very well. and this universe is very unique. you can like it, or hate it, but the deal is to make you travel inside...
king the land is one of my favorites love dramas now. there is so much unique things about this drama. but it's true that the story is very shallow. there is no depth in the characters and in the details of the story. but it's consistent, because it's a love story, not a social, philosophical or criminal inquiry.
hahaha I like when she yells unnecessarily...! hahaha!
