Hugo Wong was so good in this drama but too bad he's greasy as hell in real life and missed out on the Best Supporting Actor award during that year.

I really love the chemistry between the main cast, it makes watching very fun and wholesome. But the story isn't written very well this season, the clues don't match up to the cases and information gleamed from each episode don't fit the entire arc too. Season 2 had a much coherent storyline.

Still, I hope that all the cast members will come back for Season 4!

I love love love the cinematography and how it inspires hope and faith in love, but I'm especially grateful for the inclusion of that beautiful lesbian relationship 🥹💖

What book do they quote (Wu Kang-ren) in episode 10? The scene in the plane to Japan.
I tried searching for the title too but I don't think it's a book published in real life. Most likely it's the book written by the female writer in Episode 4 - the book she wrote in the end, inspired by her "alien" boyfriend. The book's title is most likely 天外飞来.

When was hsu pei ming in ep 1?? Can't find him anywhere, he's ep 3 protagonist
He was the hairstylist who was fixing the hair of Wei Ting (played by Gingle Wang) after the producer told someone to fix her hair. He was wearing a mask so we couldn't really see his face but his hairstyle is the same as in the last scene of Episode 3 at the supermarket.

A Hong Kong Drama with young people? I don't believe my eyes
this is why this drama has a cult following. I go on IG and threads, and there are so many people talking about it everyday when it was airing in hk.

This is so so so good, a hundred percent improvement on the first season!

P.S: Don't look at the list of cast here if you don't want to be spoiled about an important character.

Title Inevitable Spoiler
Can someone explain the ending? (I do not understand difficult Chinese words so I do not understand some things…
Hi, sorry this is 2 years late! I just finished watching the drama.

"When the protagonist was about to kill the evil CEO in the church, he stopped and said something and the evil CEO said something. what was it?"
The protagonist recited a verse from the Bible - " For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you." (Matthew 6:14) and told the evil CEO that he forgives him. After killing the protagonist's 2 best friends, the evil CEO said "Who do you think you are? What right do you have to forgive me?" The protagonist then said "I just know that I do not want to become like you." In the end, the evil CEO sent the protagonist to the parallel world where the protagonist became the CEO.

"Who is the injured girl who appeared in front of the protagonist car? What is the significance?"
That girl is actually the protagonist's daughter from another parallel world. Her name is Pang Ka Ming, same pronunciation as the name of the protagonist's son but different character and intonation. She said "Dad, I have finally found you. My mother is Gu Man Zhen." before she fainted. Gu Man Zhen is the protagonist's wife who passed away from a car accident many years ago and was also his girlfriend / wife in the new world (after Madam So died).

"Did the evil CEO know that his wife was from an alternate world and killing off workers from this world?"
He didn't explicitly said it but he was suspicious of her.

"When the protagonist was in the alternate world, what was the meaning the last few minutes (reverse showing of the story, explosions in the city, he digging up and looking at paper in the black envelope in the buried box)?"
The girl who appeared before the protagonist's car and then said she was his daughter, she has a tattoo that gave the coordinates of a place in the parallel world where she was from. The protagonist went into that parallel world to that exact place and dug up a box with a folded piece of paper and movie tickets. The movie tickets are probably proof that the girl wasn't lying about her being the protagonist's daughter because we know that the protagonist and Man Zhen used to watch movies when they were dating and Man Zhen would keep all the ticket stubs. The drama never showed him opening up the paper so no one knows what it is. It was probably a lead-up to a sequel that never happened in the end.

No one also explained the explosions in the city so my guess is that the daughter comes from the parallel world where the evil wife of the CEO came from. (I'm talking about the version of wife who stepped into the house in a red shirt after the real wife was murdered by her employee.) The employee of the evil wife calls her "CEO" and it looks like they were planning to come into the world the protagonist and evil CEO were originally in and get rid of the evil CEO so that the evil wife can be the CEO. The daughter led the protagonist into her parallel world so that he can save her Hong Kong and probably stop the evil wife in his original world?

"Why does the evil CEO have 2 different faces?"
He never explained how he's able to change his appearance but he did say that he puts on the young-guy face when he's with her as he feels it will be easier for his wife to accept him, than if he appeared with his real face.

Watching this awful drama for Nancy Wu was almost worth it. She nailed every scene and stole all of my attention in every frame she's in. Nancy Wu, you will always be my TV Queen <3

The only saving grace of this drama is Moses. Though his character was meant to be the "comic relief", I found him and his plotlines more interesting than whatever was going on in the drama.

Is this an adaption of "The Truth", a Chinese variety show produced by Tencent? If yes, I'm excited as I actually like that Chinese variety show a lot.

This is definitely an unofficial copy of Girls' High School, a Korean variety show, but unfortunately, it isn't as good as the original. The cast / regular members aren't as immersed into whatever is going on, it feels like they are only appearing for the sake of getting paid and honestly brings me out of the story so many times.

Personal Opinion: Zhang Yuqi and Zhang Yifan are quite annoying. The rest are okay. Qi Wei, Li Yitong and Li Xueqin are the only ones who are professional to keep the show going.

Off to a great start! Really enjoyed the first 2 episodes, the story was great and the puzzles weren't as complicated as last season. The chemistry between the cast is also great, hilarious at times.

Everything is cute but the plot is pretty dated. It's a bit icky that Gu Wei gave up going overseas just for their relationship (at least in Episode 22). The way he tried to cover her up when her top is loose or her dress is short is also a little :/
