Another series that the second leads stole the show especially Tonkla. I was looking forward to more of his scenes than anyone else's. Totally, they should focus about the editing because it looks to me this isn't like a budgeted thing. The actors are also very famous ones, I've seen them in other series and movies. I don't know why errors like this happened. But the actors carry the series. The story is also promising. I'm sure for people who read the novel, it would make more sense. Regardless, it's a good series to watch.
Euthanasia is one of the difficult subjects really. I actually don't know where to stand. If it's for me, I don't oppose to it depends on what kind of situation I'm in. But I get it why many people disagree, the outcomes of misuses and all. About the romance, I think it might work even with no romance whatsoever. It coulf even be bromance or something. I wouldn't mind. However, I don't think it's because the actors don't have chemistry as some are saying, they did great. It just focus too little on that and it's also quite short. I can't say it as a perfect show though, some little plot holes and errors are a bit of distractions. It's just actors cover those mistakes well. It's a good watch thanks to them.
The story is pretty solid, definitely well acted. However I think it could've been better. There are a few plot holes and production errors, like when Kan is holding old record cover and next he wasn't holding it. Aside from those minute details and loopholes, it was more than okay. I wanted to give an 8 but because of the last scene where they were quarrelling, I gave 8.5. It was great. Every crying scene in this drama done naturally, not cringy at all. I can't stand the over-acting crying.
About the ending, I was expecting one of them dying in the end but they both lived. So it wasn't that much of a tragedy I guess? I mean, Kan will lose his licence for sure but I think they might have some leniency towards him, could be a few years in prison. And I think Tew have already forgiven him by giving that flower after knowing the meaning behind. I'm not saying what Kan did was right. Just don't want Tew to be in his death bed later in life thinking, "Euthanasia doesn't sound bad now. And I kinda miss my ex." 😅
Edit: I see some saying they don't have chemistry. I think actors were great, just that it doesn't focus on romance. I think it's not exactly bl "bl". It's a mini crime series, something like that. In fact , I think I sometimes need this kind of stuff, not so over the top bl. So it you want too much cutesy and romance, I wouldn't recommend this.
To the people who's complaining this show doesn't deserve high rating, this show actually deserves at least 9. Why? This is like the healthiest bl couple amidst their unfavorable situations. It's like better version of LFTCOT. It's not just that, the script, the acting, everything is just right. Actors look also pretty comfortable with each other. Sometimes even though the stories and scripts look promising, the actors can look awkward. There are some grown-up male actors who do not dare to kiss or be kissed in bls but these two young actors done it so well and naturally. I also want to point out it has the right amount of episodes and duration, it's not dragged on unnecessarily. So yeah, it may not be perfect but I wish there are more bls like this one. That's why I gave it 9.5.

Although I think it should be Jungo that move to Seoul because he's the writer and that's kind of a job you can do anywhere, but not sure he can. Korea and Japan is very close, still it would be tiresome to go back and forth too.

When he met Gyu Ho, it was near the end of 2019 because he said the soy sauce was expired liked months ago and on soy sauce bottle it was written 2019 of March if I'm not mistakn. And that happened just after he met Gyu Ho. And his mother died just before he met Gyu Ho. And the story started off around 2015 I guess because he didn't fully serve the military. And Mi Ae is probably senior in the university, that's why she ffinished early. Not sure if that explains
