I didn’t know the language thing about her speech style, so this is an interesting observation to share. What…
Yeah, let aside all the rant, the show deserves big applaud for CG. They done it so beautifully and professionally. I really hope there's gonna be a second season, I don't mind waiting in aspect of better follow ups. In fact, I hope they take time to produce a good sequel. I don't want them to be rushed because most of the the sequels become such disappoinment after huge success of prequels. So for good shows, take time and produce another masterpiece. We can wait for the good result.
I'm not sure whether anyone has this problem but I'm terrible with names especially Chinese TT. And that's why I scarcely watch C drama. I hope I don't sound racist though. But it's a real thing for me. I can't catch up with the stories and feel frustrated. When I see C drama fans, literally I can't help but praise. I'm neurodivergent, maybe that's why? I'm also not good with faces but not just for Chinese, but the whole Asia. It's funny because I'm also Asian.
Now, I'm on ep 3 and as expected I'm having hard time remembering who's who. I'm hoping it'll get better though. I don't want to drop another drama for that reason and I'm missing out a lot of C drama. This one has only 12 eps, so I guess it won't be that hard.

She's the type of investigator who wishes for 'more criminals' (as if there aren't enough) or like doctors who asks for more sick people. Believe it or not those kind of people exist. And what's most upsetting is her carelessly opening up to stranger about a friend's HUGE secret (I'm sure they'd be considered as friends). But I hope it's because she's still young and naive. Still, though, I wouldn't want to hang out with that kinda friend.
Oh, I actually don't want romance in this type of story. I even want the writers / creators to tone down a bit sometimes for bromance tag and not just for this drama. Sometimes it feels like the "bromance" is stronger than "romance" and my heart can't take it. I mean, why do they have to do that. It's almost like queerbaiting 😒
So, I watched this again and I feel like I need to rant a bit. I'm not sure whether I'd mention in here the first time I watched but anyway I feel annoyed with Chu Ying, the police woman. She should've been the most mature since she's the oldest amongst and more so because of her career yet she's so childish. The two boys are more matured than her and her use of vocabulary is worse than Yi Yong. Also, the way her being not serious with somewhat trivial tasks of the station makes her look like she's actually not suited for the job. She's rookie and young, those tasks may be mundane but it's like routines for inexperienced ones. Besides, she failed the tests, what does she expect?! I'm not sure if the writers intentionally led her character like that but she's gradually become unlikable.
As much as I am big bl fan, I don't want everything to turn into bl and I prefer quality over quantity. And I think this type of drama is better as "bromance" than bl. However, I think the spark between Yi Yong and Guang Yan seems a bit more than bromance. Yi Yong seems to be more easily attached to GY. Both of them are soft to each other. GY also understands YY better and the latter knows that too. The way they stick to each other just seems a bit more than friends. YY also likes to be around GY especially compare to the girl, whom he only meet or contact when there's a case. The tension between the YY and GY is softly spoken and since the the series is kinda short and not focused on that part we don't see much but it can be seen.

WTH, there are a lot. I didn't think there would be that much I swear. And it's kinda ironic and impressive to know because they were so many homophobic people in that time and they still managed to produce many homoerotic films. Thanks for sharing anyway!
ignore the rating, is close to 8, just bitter people that couldn't stomach that a secondary couple didn't end…
You described well. I think, more matured bl fans would enjoy this show. It's not always rainbows and flowers in relationships. I'd say it's slow burn in the right way.
I guess, I've found another hidden bl gems. This is wayyy better than most over hyped series out there, ngl. The stories and characters progressions are paced naturally. They let each character shines, which scarcely happens. Some people mention it's slow paced, but I don't think at all. I think they even skipped some scenes, like one incident happened and next episode it's like another week or so. And there's also no boring day-to-day conversations, heck it doesn't even tell how one couple met. For me, it's 9/10. This show deserves at least 8 overall.
I feel like there's at least 3 dimensions of the endings. 1. They both died and they don't know yet 😭 2. Yori actually died in the bathtub but his spirit went together with Minato, then Minato died. 3. They both lived, which we all wanted but I'm not sure.
P.S. I feel like Kida, one of their girl classmates found out about them later or something. She looks as if she knows something.
I don't get it. Why is this movie considered a masterpiece? I've always noticed this in movies that explore forbidden,…
Same. The most annoying thing for me is that the culprit is so messed up in the head, yet it looks like he won. The final part of the movie was like—oh such unfortunate siblings. I mean really? Dude didn't even r*pe or something and had to go through THIS!! I don't like it at all
