GOLDMEDALIST sent court papers to her damanding payment when they know she could not.

GOLDMEDALIST gave her loan, knowing full well what a career ending scandal she was in with her DUI. Knowing that the prospects of her repaying the loan were essentially zero (at this time). Sure, she could have later recoverd, possibly. Maybe her career could have been revived in a few years. Then she would have been able to pay.

I'm not sure who terminated the contract between GOLDMEDALIST and Kim Sae Ron. She was in breach of contract with the DUI.

I don't recall what LJH had to do with that. Being drunk and driving, even a scooter, can cause people to die. It is a serious issue. However, it is not unforgiveable (up to the point where someone is seriously injured or dies). The big part in Suga's criticism was HYBE's ineptitude in handling the incident. They turned a molehill into a mountain with their PR team crapping out over Suga's DUI. Personally, Suga's fine as he did not cross the line while drunk.

What was that about Lee Jin Ho dragging BTS' Jimin into some gambling scandal? JFC.

Lee Jin Ho was also caught posting completely fabricated "text messages" regarding the MHJ x HYBE saga.

Now? Lee Jin Ho just claimed that he was really trying to help her and had permission from her manager to post his videos that he took down. Only to have an article published in NAVER that claims to contradict Lee Jin Ho's self-serving claims, as false.

Lee Jin Ho is a hatchet man were companies go to smear others. A parasite.

So, I deleted the post.

I try to avoid speculating on the internet about other people's problems/behavior, because what do I know? I'm…
Further details have been reported. Executives at GOLDMEDALIST - her former agency - lent her the equivalent of $535,000 to pay fines, etc... despite:

1. Knowing her career was damaged and her prospects were next to nil in repaying the "loan".
2. She ended up working part-timer jobs.
3. No part-timer makes enough to pay $535,000 back in less than 3 years.
4. Youtuber Lee Jin Ho well known for controversy and posting fake information, just happened to revealeher place of employement as a part-timer. The busines of which was then subsequently harrassed for employing her.

Executive(s) at GOLDMEDALIST would have been well aware of her inability to pay back the loan any time within the next decade unless her career prospects picked up.

Yet, someone at GOLDMEDALIST still lent ther the money. And then threatened legal action despite knowing that no part-timer could ever afford repyament.

Which raises disturbing questions about the purpose(s) of the loan. and what they may have really been.

As for Lee Jin Ho, he's published so much misleading information as a "journalist" including fabricated information. Yet remains on Youtube and untouched. Who is protecting him? He's a hatch man for hire by companies.

An Amazon employee was denied sick leave after being injured in the New Orleans terror attack. This is the true…
In a true communist society? There is no money. READ YOUR MARX. Damn. Any society using money is a CAPITALIST SOCIETY. Whether it be State Capitalism, Neoliberal Capitalism - Chicago School, Mercantilism, that Moron called MISES and austerity Capitalism, etc... they all use money and all fall under the umbrella of CAPITALISM.

Money rules. That we agree on. That last sentence? You will are wrong. Again, read your MARX.

I mean why would you rate the drama low for something which wasn't even dramamakers' fault, but Netflix's is beyond…
The episode felt chopped up and rushed. As for the politicization, that is moot and does not contribute to the overall score of the last episode.

The last episode just felt completely out of place. That happens sometimes with Kdrama trying to wrap up things too quickly or when they lose the story. Think of the last 4 of the episodes of "Start Up" with Bae Suzy. Like a completely different show that destroyed any sense of immersion.

The series gets 9/10 or 10/10 as I said for episoded 1-11. Overall, I'd give it a 9 or 9.5 for the story despite the last episode.

Your statement is ignorant. Which Communist system? Name a Communist country that existed where the requirement is, the absence of money. Money is the hallmark of a CAPATIList system since money is CAPITAL.

Communism does not work. And Libertarianism (extreme Neoliberal Capitalism) is the other extreme that also does not work.

Whose Capitalist system? Industrial? Finance? Socialism (uses CAPITAL which is MONEY)? Neoliberal Capitism aka Reaganomics aka Trickle-down aka Globalism? Even within Communism, Socialism, and Capitalism... there are many varieties.

Even in Socialism, Capitalists provides the means to build out Public Utilities.

I prefer a well-regulated Capitalism that both curbs the excesses of owners and government.

Even Texas Government intervenes regularly in markets with tax breaks, tax incentives, to lure in companies. And the Federal spending in Texas = 75% of the Texas economy when money velocity is properly accounted for. Texas is a hybrid Socialist-Capitalist economy, as are all Southern States in America. Which is why I call them,

The United Southern Socialst Republics of America.

Why, even Georgia is touting how well regulated their electrical grid is and using government intervention in free markets (tax breaks, etc) to lure in data centers.

You have been schooled. Your free lesson is over, Socialist.

Except that in Communist societies? Money does not exist. Money is CAPITAL. As in CAPITALism. Money is what defines a Capitalist system. Which is why The USSR was a STATE CAPITALIST system. The Premiere was the Chairman. The Politburo, the Executive Board, The Communist Party members, middle managers, and the proles = employees.

People forget that to be a Communist society as outlined by Karl Marx? Money is disposed of.

Socialism is the transition from Capital to Capital-free.

Libertarianism (extreme Neoliberal Capitalism) is the other extreme, opposite of Communism. Both only work on paper.

Two good actors. A unique plot with some cool twists. A good storyline. Had some flaws, "things taht go boom" and "I fell off a steep...".

Could have gone to 14 or 16 episodes to wrap up the series. Last episode was rushed and incomplete and chopped up.

Then Netflix politicized it with pro-Zionist puke.

9/10 (maybe even 10/10) for Episodes 1-11, 0/10 for episode 12.

I agree with you. However, psychopaths addicted to money who run companies... do not.

There is nothing weaker than the human mind when that mind is confronted by money.

Money is an addiction and most don't care about others when profit is involved. An unfortunate result of Neoliberal Capitalism.
Lily Alice Jan 6, 2025
There are always replacements for artists, idols, and celebrities. This is why companies hold the power. Contract law also states "revenue" as the basis for determining penalties if an artist leaves the company. Revenue is mostly spent on expenses where the company will never see the bulk of the money, instead profit being a small slice of revenue. This is why termination fees can range in the hundreds of millions of dollars - free money for the company that the company would never see otherwise. The termination fee clauses are overwhelmingly in favor of companies. This is what makes the contract, a "slave" contract. The artist can never hope to repay these fees.

Instead, termination fees should be based on net profit and any monies (expenses) spent on the artist there remain outstanding. This represents the true value of the artist who wishes to leave the company.

Until contract law is reformed to more accurately reflect termination fees being based on net profit and outstanding expenses? Slave contracts are what they are.

There are Muslims in all of those Countries lol. Do you people not learn that a *religion* is not an ethnicity…
Israel? Could not do anything without the United States. We stop supplying Israel, tomorrow? Israel stops their campaigns. That is just how it works.

Now, about those Israeli nukes that are undeclared...

I consider Zionists to be on par with Hamas terrorists. Don't forget, that it was Irgun in the 1920's who began a campaign of terrorism in Palestine. The King David Hotel bombing in 1946 tthat resulted in the murder of British soldiers, was one such terrorist act. Irgun being the militan wing of Zionism. Irgun, that later formed the core of the IDF.
Lily Alice Jan 5, 2025
It is unfortunate that Netflix twisted WTPR this way. The history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict extends back to the 1920's or before when Zionists (militant terrorist wing known as Irgun which later formed the core of The IDF) terrorized then-Palestine and inhabitants. The King David Hotel Bombing in 1946 was one such incident. Then the Nakba where Palestinians were forced off their land and out of their homes as their land was seized by Zionists. Interestingly enough, Zionists also stole the lands of Jews who had lived in Palestine, by saying, "You lived here for 2000 years and did not fight to free Israel". It is well documented the massacres, rapes, and murders by Zionists and the retaliation of by Arabs. The 1948 Arab-Israeli War is the result from The Nakba and Zionist attacks. This is the history that the Zionists and their allies across the world, would suppress.

"...aphasia, a language disorder caused by damage to parts of the brain."This is A BIT misleading . Yes it can…
There is also the issue of how Covid affects the brain, circulatory system, and how Covid damages the immune system and organs. People don't understand that Covid is an airborne disease and is primarily a circulatory system disease.

I'm not saying that Covid is the cause of Lu Si's illnesses (and I do hope the best for her and wish her a healthy recovery because she is a great actress). I'm saying that with her illness(es), Covid might have contributed to worsening some of her symptoms.

Just something to think about. In addition to the mental stress and (alleged*) abuse and life's struggles. It is great that she is opening up about it. And her depression that is not the ordinary depression that most experience in their lives. It is much worse.

I know people like to hype things up, but calling this drama the best and saying it has a lot of re-watch value…
It's not the best. It has flaws. The "Boom" issue and "Pushed off a..." issue. That being said, the story is very good. It has a good plot, good actors with great expressive abiliy, and many fine moments within each episode. And the OST is great.

WTPR could have been stretched out to 14 or 16 episode. Meaning that the story could have been filled out. Some scenes could have used more extras to fill out the shots - such as in front of the police station.

What WTPR does have in spades, is many touching moments with great one-liners. This is perhaps the strongest element in the story writing that WTPR has. They are so good that many people call WTPR "the best". BTW, that kiss scene when the both confronted each other? IMHO, Best Kiss Scene of 2024 (or would it be 2025?). Those moments and the impactful lines in those moments are one of the true strengths of WTPR. It is one hell of a romance fraught with danger.

I collect scenes from Kdramas that are hellavu great scenes. Such as the Lamborghini scene from Vincenzo when the two leads pull up to the court house. Vincenzo had many great scenes that are memorable. WTPR matches or exceeds, despite the shows flaws.

I agree with you as will many others: It is one of the best. What is even more impressive? It is one of the best despite the flaws it has. Perhaps because the love story speaks to people. Which is a testament to all the actors in the show, as to their ability to act.

I'm rating it 10/10. As for rewatchability? I've been keeping the story fresh in my mind by watching portions of each episode during the week, before the new episodes drop. And will be binging it this weekend.

Your post is weird, injecting politics into a health issue about an actress.

Is that you, MSS?

And just why did Xi Jinping have to issue a warning about societal revenge killings? They are even more common than school shootings in The US. And The CCP tries to cover up.
