I'd like to see her play a sci-fi soldier along the lines of Aliens and Colonial Marines. Han So Hee did excellent in My Name as a tough FL and Jo Bo Ah (so far) is making her name as an action FL in Military Prosecutor Doberman. With Kim Tae Ri in Space Sweepers.

PBY in a sci-fi military Kdrama? That I would find very interesting. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon meets USCM from Aliens in a military sci-fi Kdrama set in the future. Yummy.

Park Bo Young is the kind of talented actress I wish we had here in the States. Instead retreads we have to deal with. She takes scripts that are dubious (Abyss) and shines. Oh My Ghostess was phenomenal. Doom at Your Service was superb with the exception of the secondary love plot. I'm not aware of a bad role that PBY has ever done.

It's a show. And Star Wars would be complete shyte also. Laser's being visible in space? That is EVERY Sci-fi show in existence. Space ships maneuvering? Babylon 5 is/was perhaps the only sci-fi show that got that correct - more or less. Most ppl don't know the Kardishev scale which is a COMPLETELY ARBITRARY scale cooked up to measure something we've never measured before - why? Because we have never experienced it before. We have NO EXAMPLES of what civilizations go through to achieve advanced tech. Are Dyson Sphere's even possible? Theoretically, but maybe not. We can't even get reliable fusion and there is evidence - not in the main stream - that we may ever have reliable fusion, though it seems possible. Besides, the heat problem of fusion on Earth has yet to be solved.
Invoking the Kardishev scale to nuke a TV show? The KS is NOT APPLICALBE.

Unless you can show in reality actual civilizations that obey the arbitrary KS. IT IS ARBITRARY. A fantasy. A poor scale to use given the utter lack of real world examples.
