same same despite the backlash she always get for no reason but being cast with cute actors, because she is already…
Made the comment before, that my issue with "Destined For You" is more of a writing issue. If it were not for the cast, I would have given up on "Destined For You". The last three episodes (7-9), I had to power through. It is as if the writer(s) took one script, copy-pasted into two other scripts, and and made some changes to the copies; all in order to produce three scripts for three episodes. When it really should have been just one to one-and-a-half episode's worth of script.
That is no fault of the cast, that is a writing fail. Reminds me of "Startup" which was phenomenal until? Episode 13. It was so disjointed that I have never finished "Startup". With that show, it was as if the writer(s) simply ran out of ideas by episode twelve. I will refrain from using foul language.
Jo Bo Ah is a solid actress after TOTNT, Doberman, and now with Destined with You it will be a banger I guarantee…
My first encounter with Jo Bo Ah was in "Forest". Couldn't stop watching. I'm rather late to TOTNT, which I am liking. Her and Ahn Bo Hyun made "Prosecutor Doberman" great.
Oh Gosh the critocism towards JoBoAh is unbelievable, Ive seen pretty FL's dead as a broom and they still casting…
I don't quite fully understand how people confuse acting (Jo Bo Ah is talented and endearing) with some bad script writing.
I am watching "Destined With You" (Netflix) right now as it is rolled out. I like the actors and actresses who are doing a fine job. The problem? The WRITER(S). For the last three episodes, the writing and direction seems lost as if the script is a variation on one. Can't fault the actors and actresses for that at all. However, the ending of episode ten ended well, as if the writer(s) decided to get back on track.
I'm only powering through "Destined With You" thanks to the actors/actresses. If it were any lesser cast? I'd have given up by episode eight or nine. The writer(s) threw in some very interesting, intriguing stuff... then stuffed it up by meandering through. No fault of the actors/actresses at all.
I met a person I knew before. Could not remember their name, where I met them... nothing. But I had that feeling…
The person I met in real life? Yes. We figured out where we knew each other from. We used to work within 100m of each other in Germany and knew many of the same people. We met in 1993 but did not really hang around each other. WE met again in 2004 when a bus broke down alongside the road in Arizona, out in the middle of nowhere in the desert. We got to talking because we thought we had met each other before. Life is funny sometimes.
Did I miss something or was it explained why Hanna could remember her past life (or lives)? And how Minki and…
If we had had 18-24 episodes, the ending could have been done a lot better. Ad for how? How did the supernatural curse work after she offended the gods? Yes, they could have done a better job of playing out the end, if they were given more time. 16 episodes was not enough. One or two more opisodes would have been.
As far as I am concerned? A jpowerful performance. Despite noticing that big giant plot hole at the end with her at her job on the racetrack. That was jarring. As for the rest of the ending? I am fine with that.

i'm on ep 4 and one thing is bugging me.. if she didn't remember what her 1st life was then how did she count…
I met a person I knew before. Could not remember their name, where I met them... nothing. But I had that feeling that I did meet them before. Something like deja vu. Their face was the only familiar thing about them. Confirmed later that we had met before. Maybe that is the same with her first life; she knows, has that feeling, maybe a glimpse of a detail of her first life to know whe had one... but the rest is just not there.
YOu know you have been somewhere; but the details are gone.
This is as close to perfection as one gets in a drama. The actors and acting are superb. Their emotions leap fromn the screen. Shin Hye-Sun as delivers a particularly powerful perormance. Ah Bo Hyun is amazing. As is the rest of the cast. Writing, production, crew, actors... perfection.
Finished 1st 2 episodes. It definitely has that vibe from 6-8 years ago (Cinderella/4 Knights; Marriage Not Dating,…
Four Knights was one of my first Kdrama's, the other two being The King: Eternal Monarch and What is Wrong With Secretary Kim. Such a refreshing break for the typical macho heroic/hero/heroine with guns/zombies/terrorists American style TV show that is strictly character driven.
I am enjoying with the two episodes I've seen so far. I would not put this up in comparison to other, more serious dramas as they are not the same. The show is relaxing, chill-out type of affair. Acting is fine, production quality is on the low end but so what. If I had to compare this to an American TV show? Three's Company is what comes to mind. I am interested to see how conflict will develop in such a light hearted script. As for the FL, I am enjoying her exaggerated manner - she also has the looks for such a style of acting; hoping she is not type-casted into one role for the rest of her career.
Watching "Homemade Love Story" AKA 오! 삼광빌라!. Kim Si Eun plays a support role as Cha Ba Reun. Absolutely adorable in her role. By her performance in the Kdrama, I'll definitely have to keep watch for her upcoming shows. Look forward to seeing her in more main roles as Female Lead.
Wonderful performance as part of "The Triplets" in the C-Drama, "Perfect Mismatch". Whle the entire cast delivered great performances, "The Triplets" are my favorite characters of the entire show.
Finished watching all 24 episodes of "Perfect Mismatch". I absolutely loved the performance of "The Triplets", of which Gui Yi Wen is one of them. "We are actually triplets." My favorite lines in the entire C-drama are from The Triplets. I loved the roles of supporting actors, perhaps more than the main actors.
I am fed up with these adultery n cheating concept . Don't get why these days K shows r obsessed with Love Triangle…
Reminds me of Hollywood.... one show or movie comes along and then all of the studios are churning out similiar schlock. Though, I will say that Kdrama studios produce better shows than American television.
Cheating plots so common in kdramas now! Please bring back the golden romcoms!
Yes, and "Reborn Rich" and "Again My Life" already explored this. While both are decent shows, if Park Min Young chooses the role, wouold it be unique in its own way or just a retread of a tire? Hmmm....
I have to agree with justnines "quote" would be a nice genre change for her! "end quote".
With the exception of "What is Wrong With Secretary Kim" - a must watch - I prefer her role in Kdrama-lawyer show such as "Repentance".
Phenomenal actress though. It would be a shame to see her pigeon-holed into the romance or rom-com genre.
EDIT: Oh, what am I saying... it is a revenge drama - as long as it doesn't degenerate into romance. Revenge dramas seem to be a thing right now and we've already had "Again My Life" and "Reborn Rich".
Looking at the comments and how the show is only 4 x 30 minute episodes, I can't help but think of how established American producers end up turning out utter drivel. Disney is responsible for SW's episodes VII-IX... in a list of bad productions by cash-heavy companies. Besides Disney, there is Amazon's Wheel of Time - which if you read the books - is butchered by Amazon. The Shannara series by MTV - also butchered. How they messed up the last season of Game of Thrones - butchered due to switching writers. Big budget Hollywood STINK is a problem.
Netflix did My Name - simply WOW. They hired Koreans to write, act, etc. American writers and producers simply can not grasp Kdrama.
I love her but her recent choice in drama like abysmal and door at your service is not that good ..she needsto…
Abyss was not the best though she did shine very well with her acting. Doom At Your Service, for myself, was superb with the exception of the inclusion of the secondary love arc that I found tiresome.
