Sci-Fi book "A Rumor of Angels" by M. Bradley Kellogg. Sci-fi, romance, mystery, a parallel dimension possibly or a gateway to another planet in our Universe. My favorite all-time book I occasionally reread, now up to 28 times.
The YA genre, Darkangel series by Meredith Ann Pierce. Takes place on the Moon, reminds me of Bae Doona and The Silent Sea.
These books are what have me favoring female characters over male characters in books, TV, and movies. Male characters are usually boring possessing many of the same characteristics from show to show.
Reminds me of Vigilante without the aura ability on that "other" H-streaming website. I'm holding off finishing that one as it is not that interesting the more I watched.
Reading the synopsis of "A Killer's Paradox" has my interest piqued.f I like the twist of reading auras which is not present in the other, above-mentioned show.
There are PMY haters? Why? Based on some news about her ex- and such? If her haters are that thin-skinned, they…
Unfortunately. Look at Robertthebert down below and my reply to that uninformed poster. Wow. Except, I don't know if he is Korean or not.
South Korea does have a lot riding on the K-phenomenon so they would be concerned about image. However, much is just going too far.
Look at Tupac Shakur being killed in a one-sided street gun battle in Las Vegas. One of the participants admitted it years ago and was now only recently arrested. THAT is police incompetence.
Jennifer Lawrence appeared in a purile puke-fest of a movie meant for teen boys to "dream" about. And that not too far from her glory days of The Hunger Games.
Celebrity American Football stars with wife abuse, murder charges, etc.
The tragedy that happened with Britney Spears who was abused by her own family for her money.
Robert Downey Jr was a massive drug user who managed to clean up his act and deliver us "Iron Man".
And let us not forget what happened to Johnny Depp, one of the greatest actors of all time.
And that is not even 1/10th of what has gone in with entertainment, sports, political, and other celebrities in America.
So, when it comes to the citizens attacking some of their best talent over what are essentially non-issues, mistakes, life challenges, and minor crimes? As long as the person is repentant... and does their best by society? Not a problem. Those that are insincere? They know where to go, nowhere good.
Then, there are some things that are unforgivable.
I would love our American celebrities to be as tame as most South Korean celebrities are.
Let’s see a very rich man puts 200,000 dollars into a girls account calling it living money OK sounds like a…
"The ₩250 million KRW (about $190,000 USD) reported in the article was used by Park Min Young’s bank account by Kang Jong Hyun. It wasn’t used for Park Min Young’s expenses.”
That was uncovered by police during the investigation.
In before My Demon fans come and slam the ratings as fake
While I like "My Demon" except for the ML... he is not bad, just miscast in my opinion... I'm in no hurry to finish up My Demon. As for MMH? I am waiting every second for the next episode to come out.
Is it very similar to perfect marriage revenge for someone who has already watched that one? is it better?
Same premise, different style and execution. Really, these dramas are more Count of Monte Cristo with Time Travel. It's an old theme that has been employed before in science fiction writing, etc.
The original, of course, being Count of Monte Cristo. Look at The Count in a different light. He became a different person and "time traveled" to the future to get his revenge. Of course, The Count did not actually time travel; instead going forward in time as a new persona for revenge.
Up to Episode 5 on Amazon. So far, really good. Well executed writing, camera work, acting, etc. And the actress who plays Su Min? WOW. She was born for that role, she is so good in it.
Let's hope the studio sees the global success of Marry My Husband and doesn't give in to the PMY haters!
There are PMY haters? Why? Based on some news about her ex- and such? If her haters are that thin-skinned, they need to toughen up and learn to appreciate her acting. If they lived in The United States, they would absolutely go insane posting online about all the American celebrities in rehab, etc.
EDIT: We - in The US - even had celebrities shilling for Sam Bankman-Fried and FTX that collapsed with $16 billion in losses. They were being sued. And lets not count the s*x scandals, celebrity p*rn*, drug convictions, murders, etc. K-stars are practically Saints compared to the celebrity idiocy in The US.
PBY stole my heart in the movie "A Werewolf Boy" (cried my eyes out in the final scenes)And laughed my way through…
That scene in "Doom At Your Service" where she reveals that she has cancer and is going to die? The emotion she projected from the screen was practically overwhelming. Her performance in the "Abyss" was also good despite the script being underwhelming. "Oh My Ghost" she absolutely radiated in. And of course "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" which I thought was a silly concept until I watched the first episode and then binged the rest - which left me very unhappy with "Strong Girl Namsoon" as I still can't get through how silly they made it.
Both Kim Go Eun and Kim Ji Won are very talented. That being said, my personal favorite of the two is Kim Go Eun. Though, looking into the comments about how many have backed out, there seems reason to be worried about the script writing. That's a lot of talent backing out of one drama. And having a good director yet talent keeps backing out?
In a character arc… often they mellow down by the time the drama ends. Unlike western shows where the mean and…
Utterly horrible the low quality trash that is American TV. American show like Obliterated on Netflix is a prime example of -100 IQ American Mini-series. Lets not talk about all the WWE wrestling stars who think that they are God's Gift to American Film, Cinema, and TV; producing low budget non-quality trash. Even Jennifer Lawrence turned craptastic in some low-budget trash American film.

Marked to watch.
